More information

Pop art was the art of popular culture. It was the visual art movement that characterized a sense of optimism during the post war consumer boom of the 1950's and 1960's. Pop art was brash, young and fun and hostile to the artistic establishment. This title will allow students to analyze multiple accounts of the same event or topic, noting important similarities and differences in the point of view they represent.
