While gaming may be the prime draw as the reason people visit Las Vegas, I have been golfing there on just about every trip I have taken. And I have seen the growth of that industry increase dramatically. Working mostly from the list of golf courses from the Experience Scottsdale website, I, with 3 other buddies from home, had a week of golfing on a really broad variety of courses you may want to select from on your next journey to the area.

Mesa is one of the largest cities of Greater Phoenix in both size and population. Whether it is dining, entertainment, or site-seeing, it has a lot to offer. And during Cactus League baseball, it is the home of the the World Series winning Chicago Cubs where thousands come to see them every playing day at Sloan Park.

In the last podcast I talked about some of the things we did in Doral, most of it in near proximity to Provident Blue Hotel. We used it as a base and went to the shopping centres, South Beach and other areas we visited.

With golf, excellent restaurants, and a great accommodation at the Provident Blue in Doral, a suburb of Miami, we saw no reason to go anywhere else. We had easy access to South Beach and the major shopping centers of Miami, and walking distance to some of the best restaurants you will ever dine in. It really was a perfect stay.
