He will take you around the world of racing, and be joined by some of the biggest names in the sports! John has been around racing since he was old enough to walk. He was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and spent many Friday nights at the New Asheville Speedway where Richard Petty, Ned Jarrett, Buck Baker, David Pearson and Morgan Shepherd often competed. When he moved to Denver in 1990, John quickly got involved with Colorado National Speedway. As their track announcer, he worked several NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races, NASCAR's Winston West and Southwest Featherlite Tour races and weekly Saturday night events. He still occasionally does the track announcing at the facility in Erie.
