Growing up in Colorado Springs, Dan found his passion for classic rock in high school, listening to bands like Rush and Van Halen, while everyone else was listening to Britney Spears and Limp Bizkit. He’s been a huge fan of radio since the moment his dad gave him his first FM receiver when he was 7. Dan studied Broadcasting and New Media at Colorado State University-Pueblo (local boy!) and was lucky enough to get his first radio gig 2 days after graduation. Dan’s on-air career began in Colorado Springs as a personality on KKPK, but he eventually found himself moving north to Denver where he ultimately landed right here on The Mountain. The first thing listeners will probably notice about Dan outside of his radio show is his HEIGHT. He’s 6 foot 8 and though he doesn’t play basketball he’ll always help you get an item off the top shelf at King Soopers. When he’s not in the studio, you’ll find Dan enjoying a nice brew on the patio with friends, brunch in Cherry Creek, hiking, biking, or Netflix binging.
