Marty Riemer is that rare broadcaster who has spent his entire career - thirty plus years - in one market, the best market, Seattle WA. Having started in radio at the ripe age of 13, he went on to host shows at some of the city's greatest radio properties from KZOK, KJR to KXRX and lastly The Mountain (so good, he went there twice). During that time he also acquired a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, launched an educational video production company and now hosts a live, daily podcast from his West Seattle basement, where Seattle luminaries, or sometimes just his cat can be expected to make an appearance. When not in his basement, Marty also sits on the board of One Reel - producers of Bumbershoot and Teatro Zinzanni - and Operation: Sack Lunch, the largest free outdoor meal provider in Seattle.
