Bob opens with the show outline, and reports that there is still no payment from the government to salmon fisheries; Bob talks about halibut fishing with some stripers, and about more stripers in Colusa with some guests. Finally, we close the hour with a tribute to the California Striped Bass Association.

This hour Scott Leysath joins Bob to share a great striper recipe. The featured fish of this hour include Bullards Bar kokanee; Feather and Sacramento R. stripers; Shasta bass & trout; Delta striped bass; Union Valley mackinaw; and finally Pardee rainbows.

In the final hour we hear about Berryessa and Folsom bass; Small Don Pedro kokanee; Big New Melones kokanee; More Delta stripers; Clear Lake bass; Lake Almanor browns & rainbows; and finally Berryessa trout & salmon.

Bob starts with the show outline. According to our sources, the PFMC recommends "no" ocean salmon season this year. Featured fish include: Monterey rockfish, ling cod, and SF Bay halibut and stripers. Finally, we hear about Monterey killer whales and how Newsom's "water plan" is another entry in a string of failures.

We get a stripers report from the Feather and Sacramento Rivers. Scott Leysath joins us with a recipe for fish cakes. This hour's featured fish include Delta stripers, Clear Lake crappie, Bullards Bar kokanee, and Lower Yuba R. trout/steelhead. Finally, we hear about fly fishing some Bullards Bar bass.

In the last hour, Bob talks about fair brown trout fishing in East Walker (in Nevada) and excellent sturgeon in Lower Delta. It looks like questionable regulations may threaten the East Walker's trophy status. Finally, an update on the bad news on Klamath River.

Bob talks about the Springers (salmon) due late March in Columbia River.
