The show explores the evolution and defining characteristics of "indie rock," from its days as a statement contrary to mainstream music to its current status as a stylistic term. Each show will explore a different subcategory of indie rock, (slowcore, shoegaze, etc.) as well as exploring regional scenes and styles from the onset of independent music to the present. The show will dig deep into niche subgenres of indie rock to bring the absolute gems to the SLU community. This is your life now.
