Cliff Osbourne got the radio bug at an early age and following involvement with a number of hospital radio stations had lots of fun in woods and fields around south London stringing a length of wire between two trees and 'accidentally' connecting it to a transmitter (honest!). He did a couple of stints with Radio Caroline on the Mi Amigo in 1978 although you might have blinked and missed them. Cliff decided to join Caroline for a second time as he heard they were looking for presenters with personality, enthusiasm and experience. Despite this he got in touch and has been let loose on-air ever since.
