AM 1300 WIMO, your community radio station, is currently undergoing some changes. WIMO began in November of 1952 as a community radio station and WIMO has all intentions to continue to be as such. However, if WIMO is continue to be a community station, the community must desire to be involved. We are currently working on new programming aimed at the social, political, government and economic pillars of this community. We currently have 27 shows that need sponsors. By next week, I will provide a list of these shows and allow the individuals and businesses to select which show they would like to sponsor. Rates are more than reasonable and created based on the financial state of this community. We are excited about the direction of WIMO and using this station as a tool toward a community revival.
