Host Jeremy Daw, author of Weed the People: From Founding Fiber to Forbidden Fruit, writes extensively about the history, policy, and culture of cannabis in the US. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Cannabis Now Magazine and a contributor to the West Coast Leaf and the San Francisco Chronicle’s “Smell the Truth” blog. He has also served as the assistant curator of the Hemp History Museum at Oaksterdam University. He earned a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and studied philosophy at New York University. On the “Weed the People Potcast” Jeremy takes an entertaining and critical view of the legal, political, scientific, and economic issues surrounding the long march to cannabis legalization.
