Manchester City striker not welcome, claims AC Milan star
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is not welcome at AC Milan, according to defender Ignazio Abate. The Italy right-back is away with his country playing in the Confederations Cup in Brazil, where he slammed the idea of the San Siro side adding the Argentinian to their already impressive list of strikers. We dont need to sign Tevez, the 27-year-old full-back said. We have other great attackers, like (Giampaolo) Pazzini, who could not play much due to injury but when he did he was very good.

Spanish midfielder Isco admits he faces a straight choice between Real Madrid and Manchester City this summer but insists he has not had talks with new Etihad boss Manuel Pellegrini. The 21-year-old is certain to leave cash-strapped Malaga in the current transfer window, and it was widely expected he would follow Pellegrini to the Premier League. Isco admits the Chilean has been a big influence on his career, but says that will not be a decisive factor when he sits down to plan his next move.

Weaver, who is currently without a club after being released by Sheffield Wednesday, said that the Chilean boss is the right man to brign further success to the Etihad. He told Weekend Sports Breakfast: I feel Roberto Mancini was a little harshly treated, to win the title and then a year later get sacked is a little bit harsh.
