Swansea flop joins Hapoel Tel Aviv
Swansea flop Itay Shechter has joined Hapoel Tel Aviv back in his native Israel. The 26-year-old spent last season on loan from Kaiserslautern but managed just 18 games, scoring once. And he has not returned to the German club, where he arrived in 2011, with a return to Hapoel now secured. Shechter became a star at the club between 2009 and 2011 and they have wasted no time offering him a five-year deal back in the Israeli capital. Im really happy to be back home, he told the Jerusalem Post.

Laurens: Hiddink, not Laudrup, favourite for PSG job
Le Parisien journalist Julien Laurens says Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is an outsider to take over big-spending French club Paris Saint-Germain. Laudrup has been linked to the role, with Carlo Ancelotti set to quit for Real Madrid, but Laurens says Anzhi Makhachkala manager Guus Hiddink is the frontrunner. I think the talks with Guus Hiddink are more extended than with Laudrup or Andre Villas-Boas, who I believe has said he is not interested, said Laurens.
