As the Anaheim Ducks get into the busy stretch of the NHL season, Alexis Downie is joined this week by Pierre LeBrun, TSN Insider and Senior NHL Columnist for The Athletic. LeBrun shares his perspective of this year's trade deadline and how it could make for an exciting offseason. The two then go on to discuss the condensed NHL season, the Ducks success, playoff formatting and more!

Ryan Poehling inks a new deal with the Anaheim Ducks that will keep him here until the 2029-30 season. Co-leading Anaheim in plus/minus and third in faceoff wins, Poehling will fly with the Ducks for the foreseeable future. Join Alexis Downie in the Kariya studio to hear from Poehling first!

Team USA brought home the gold medal at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games this year and so did Jackson LaCombe! Alexis Downie is joined by the Anaheim Ducks four Olympians to recap their experiences. We first hear from LaCombe (2:54), followed by Mikael Granlund (8:53) with Finland and round it out with the two members of Czechia, Radko Gudas (15:47) and Lukáš Dostál (27:22).

It's trade deadline week! Alexis Downie is joined by Pete Blackburn, the co-host of What Chaos, a national hockey show. Blackburn shares details from his weekend in Philly getting caked by Gritty, the growth of What Chaos and their plans for a 24-hour deadline show. After that, we hear Blackburn's thoughts on the Ducks season, the West vs. East and other storylines around the NHL.

Ahead of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, Alexis Downie is joined by SoCal native Cayla Barnes, now a 3x Olympian for Team USA and member of the PWHL's Seattle Torrent. Barnes shares her excitement for the upcoming Games and how her previous experiences winning gold ('18) and silver ('22) will help heading into the tournament. Barnes also discusses what packing for an Olympics looks like and playing in Seattle with the new expansion team.

ESPN NHL Insider and Reporter Emily Kaplan joined Alexis Downie this week to catch up on everything happening around the league. Kaplan shares details of her role as an insider and working with the crew at ESPN. Later on, Kaplan also talks about the upcoming Olympic Games, her perspective of the Anaheim Ducks season and more!

Founders Paul O'Kane and Bob Tranchida of Coachella Valley Pride Hockey joined Alexis Downie to talk about the growth of hockey within the LGBTQ+ community in the desert.

As 2025 comes to a close, Alexis Downie takes you on a trip down memory lane with the Anaheim Ducks organization. Downie goes month by month highlighting all of the big moments for the Ducks throughout the calendar year. Additionally, pieces of audio are mixed in each month to highlight the year, including Leo Carlsson following the 4 Nations Faceoff, GM Pat Verbeek at the trade deadline, Roger McQueen at the NHL Draft and much, much more.

The Anaheim Ducks are in the midst of their east coast road trip taking on five Metropolitan Division opponents. Ahead of the reunion game at Madison Square Garden, Mollie Walker, the Rangers beat writer for the New York Post, joins Alexis Downie. Walker discusses the Blueshirts season to date and covering the team in the New York market. Later on, Walker shares her impressions of the highly anticipated returns for Jacob Trouba and Chris Kreider.

The Anaheim Ducks are back on national TV this week with a game on TNT. So fittingly, Alexis Downie is joined by the host for the NHL on TNT, Liam McHugh. The two chat about the hockey season, including the Ducks impressive start. McHugh also gives a behind-the-scenes look at what working with the panel at TNT is like and all of the exciting things ahead for the group this season.

It's a Black Friday Matinee vs. the Kings! Alexis Downie is joined in-studio by Carrlyn Bathe and Kayla Knierim, the co-hosts of RoyalTea, an LA Kings podcast. The three chat about the rivalry between the Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings, life as a podcast host, their journeys working in sports and more on hockey in SoCal!

The Anaheim Ducks held their 2025-26 home opener on Tuesday by hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins. Prior to puck drop, Alexis Downie hit the Orange Carpet to chat with Ducks players as they arrived. Mason McTavish (00:31) joined Downie at the beginning, followed by carpet first-timer Beckett Sennecke (2:09). Later on, Jacob Trouba (4:00), Mikael Granlund (5:44) and Troy Terry (7:03) stopped to talk about the experience.

In the final edition of our Anaheim Ducks Media Day interviews, Leo Carlsson, Drew Helleson and Alex Killorn chatted with Alexis Downie at the cornhole boards and putting green. Carlsson (3:04) talks about his summer in Sweden and time at the World Championship. Helleson (9:26) shares more on the end of his offseason and his anticipation for the year. Lastly, Killorn (16:37) discusses his first summer as a dad back home in Tampa.

On this edition of the Anaheim Ducks Media Day interviews, Alexis Downie is joined by Tristan Luneau, Ian Moore, Ross Johnston and Stian Solberg to play cornhole and hit the putting green. Star goaltender Dostál (3:20) shares the feeling when committing to Anaheim for another five years. Sennecke (13:24) then talks about his summer training and spending time at his family cottage. Finally, recent NCAA National Champion, Washe (20:21), shares his love for the outdoors and fishing during the offseason.

The Anaheim Ducks agreed to terms with Jackson LaCombe on an 8-year, $72 million dollar contract that will begin next season making him the highest paid player in Ducks history with the total dollar amount. LaCombe spoke with Alexis Downie after signing the new deal.

In this edition of our Anaheim Ducks Media Day interviews, Alexis Downie chats with Ryan Poehling, Ville Husso and Troy Terry. Newcomer Poehling (2:49) shares his excitement on joining the organization and more on his offseason in Minnesota. Husso (11:36) then talks about spending the summer back home training in Finland. Lastly, Terry (20:24) discusses the coaching staff changes and what he's looking forward to with the upcoming season.

Mikael Granlund, Radko Gudas and Pavel Mintyukov joined Alexis Downie during this year's Anaheim Ducks Media Days. Granlund (2:09) spoke on his excitement upon coming to Orange County and joining the team, while Gudas (10:29) shared details of his summer back home in Czech. Mintyukov (20:42) rounds it out by discussing his time spent with family after not seeing them for a year.
