2/1/2024
This book is about a meaningful way of getting to know better our Lord Jesus Christ, the significant events in His life, the sacred mission He accomplished in obedience to His heavenly Father, His very words and ways, and the significant role of His blessed mother, all these by praying the holy rosary. This time, every prayer on each bead is accompanied by an incident, phenomenon, remark or message all about or related to His life embedded in the four mysteries of the rosary. Thus, sometime, along the way of using this scriptural rosary prayer, one may utter in sheer wonder and reverence, "my Lord and my God!"

Reflections on Mountaineering: A Journey Through Life as Experienced in the Mountains (FIFTH EDITION, Revised and Expanded)

12/5/2023
Presented as one hundred thirty-eight narrative-style poems, some of which are rhyming and others are in prose or blank verse, Reflections on Mountaineering, A Journey Through Life as Experienced in the Mountains, a FIFTH EDITION, Revised and Expanded summarizes much of what the author, Alan V. Goldman, learned in his more than 30 years of climbing, either from personal experience, or from his mountaineering peers. Mr. Goldman came to realize that many of the same moral issues that confront us in everyday life are likewise present in the high mountains, only to a sharper degree. Still, many of the poems reflect on themes and situations that are peculiarly prominent in the mountain environment.

"God Laid His Hand on Me"

12/4/2023
After you read my book, you can see I am an ordinary man. For some reason, God wanted me to live. You can read all the things that happened and didn't happen. They can't be explained away by science, medicine, physics, the law of averages, or luck. There clearly is only one way to explain it: God laid his hand on me and protected me and healed me, and finally I got the message that I should tell the world to open your eyes. He didn't die two thousand years ago, and that's it. The media never dwell on the positive things every day. Just start looking for yourself. He is still here.
