Arts & Culture Podcasts >

Big Deep is our podcast is about people who have a deep connection to our world’s oceans, connections strong enough that they have dedicated some part of their lives to being in or working on behalf of the water. Each episode we speak with the most interesting people we can find, from marine biologists to underwater criminal investigators, dive masters who have dived exotic locations around the world to award winning free dive photographers. We've talked with cave divers and nuclear power plant divers, we've heard from media personalities at the forefront of the conversation around diving and spoke with a woman who took a research submarine to one of the deepest spots in the ocean. And we've focused on people who have in some way been changed by being in the water, from a woman who became a mermaid, to scientists whose lives have been deeply touched by the Sperm Whales they are studying. In essence we spoke with people like us. People who have some deep feeling for the water. And that’s also who this podcast is for. People who somehow feel fuller, more genuine, somehow complete, when they are in the water. So we invite you to join us on this journey, as we explore the world’s oceans through the stories of the people who love it. Welcome to the Big Deep Podcast.
