Coming Out Lesbian

This episode I share my coming out story of when I came out to my "second parents". Things did not go so well and I share my experiences with losing a support system and share coping strategies for others going through similar experiences.

I discuss and suggest several shows to watch that have a strong, or decent lesbian story arc, shows with transgender characters, and other gay movies and tv shows that have queer representation. We discuss the issues with lack of representation that can negatively influence the impressionable minds of youth gays and how that needs to be remedied.

On this episode COL discusses masculine presenting style, ideas of where to shop for more masculine clothing, issues feminine bodies have when wearing menswear and how to remedy. I share my ideas on where to look and how I like to find and wear clothing and offer tips on where you too can look for your style!

I share my experience of coming out to my closest friend of 10+ years. I share my experiences and how I overcame my fears. I explain what I said and did and how it made the two of us grow closer together. Boy was it scary at first!
