The Space of the Waist is that space between the bottom of your bustline or bra band down to the place where your waist nips in the most. Guests may be invited on to the show to discuss design and silhouettes/styles for body shapes and waist lengths. Guests may include designers, patternmakers, retailers, factory owners, alterations experts and merchandise managers. Also, women with various and long or short waists are invited to discuss their real-life shopping problems in finding clothes that flatter them. Accessory designers will give proportion tips for body shapes. Seasonal fashion trends and colors will also be discussed and tweaked for given body shapes and waist lengths.

I left to take a sales job at a Beverly Hills bridal salon because I had always loved the “gown”, the symbolism of this dress and how much this garment is treasured and sometimes passed down to future generations. Throw away fashion never sat well with me. Even as a little girl, I would repurpose vintage clothes by redesigning them for myself so the idea of being around beautifully made timeless wedding gowns was alluring. Soon, I decided to start my own vision of an L.A. bridal salon on Melrose Ave. with a focus on custom design.
