We meet Cindy and Leonard Reese who live in Tatum, Texas, and we learn how they have made love work for forty-five years, from their first meeting at Stephen F. Austin State University, through their years teaching high school kids, how they have dealt with Leonard's PTSD from his combat experience as a Marine rifleman in Vietnam. We also learn about Leonard's career as an independent author as he brought his Vietnam memoir , The Nam Within, to life.
