👋🏽 Hey, it's Jaylen Bledsoe. This week, Apple is hosting WWDC, their World Wide Developers Conference. At the end of their keynote, Tim Cook kicked the historic “One More Thing” moment, and the rumored “Apple Vision Pro” and “visionOS” was announced. At a price starting at $3,499, to be released in 2024, this is not priced for everyone. It is similar in strategy to Tesla, opposite of Meta and its VR devices such as its’ Meta Quest 3. Tesla priced its earlier vehicles at a premium to fund the cost of innovation so that one day it could deliver more accessible and economically feasible cars such as the Model 3, Model Y, or the future Model 2 and beyond. I’d have to imagine a lower-priced device releasing at the end of 2024 alongside the 2024 iPhone (iPhone 16?), which I believe would be the computer for that device.

👋🏽 Hey, it’s Jaylen. As I was preparing for a relaxing and peaceful ride on my Slingshot last night, I received a text in my driveway that had me utilizing that ride to write today’s conversation. I had a unique childhood as I became a teen millionaire by 16 years old. That type of “success” and mindset changes the role of a kid quickly, ultimately becoming a caretaker of some type to my caretakers, family, and friends. I know that millionaire or not, this is a reality for many people. So today’s talk is about the perspective shift we need to take as a fixer, or else we begin to limit the ability to accomplish the call and purpose of our individual lives. I should be as clear in the description as I am in the video. There’s also the opportunity to support someone in fixing one problem, maybe twice, but if that problem happens a 3 or 15th time, they’re doing it to themselves. And if we continue to “fix” what they’re doing to themselves, we give them the comfort to repeat those actions because they know we’ll be there to save the day. I hope this video speaks to the needs of someone who needs to feel the release of responsibility of fixing and providing for people who’re unable to receive what they have. I believe there’s something in this, no matter the amount of money, time, or relationship status (single, dating, married, divorced). There's someone in our lives we're allowing never to take accountability or responsibility as we come to the rescue unconditionally.

👋🏽 Hey, it's Jaylen - I had to pop back in before the day was over and discuss today's release of the May 2023 Job Numbers Report. The Employee payroll numbers scared me at first because they were so good, but the unemployment numbers increased..which is a good sign. That means the Federal Reserve FOMC might see a reason to continue to consider a pause on the interest rate hikes in its fight for inflation. Can we get a soft landing vs. a hard recession??? Also, Disney...oh Disney, their lawsuit with DeSantis over their response to Florida's "Don't Say Gay Bill" and DeSantis' response of "abolishing" the Reedy Creek Improvement District isn't looking too good. The original judge, an Obama Appointee, recused himself over 30 shares of Disney stock owned by a cousin, and now a Trump Republican Appointee is on the bench for the case.

👋🏽 Hey, it's Jaylen. I went live last night on Instagram and discussed the Debt Ceiling (which passed the Senate while editing), Meta Quest VR 3, and Apple VR/AR/AI announcements (at WWDC next week?) I'm figuring out the "point" and the format of these conversations. I've received many requests on Instagram to explain various business and U.S. economics news to make it easy to understand how it impacts you and what you should be doing in response. As I'm new to this (on this side of the camera), I welcome all feedback, good or bad.
