In this episode, we are joined by the DPMSG’s newest member Sammy Pahal, Managing Director of UK PropTech Association (UKPA), a not-for-profit membership organisation set up to drive the digital transformation of the property industry by promoting engagement between PropTech and property businesses. Sammy has extensive knowledge of the value of location data in the land and property industry, and within this episode she discusses her vision for a digital property market whilst utilising the benefits of engaging PropTech to support with upfront information and the adoption of data standards.

Our third podcast episode captures a short selection of speeches from our launch event in London on the 12th of September. We are joined today by Kate Faulkner OBE, Chair of the Home Buying and Selling Group. She is one of the UK’s leading property experts. She is passionate that most of the problems in the residential property market can be solved if the media industry and government work together to educate consumers on how to carry out property projects. The Digital Property Market Steering Group (DPMSG) is formed of a cross-section of institutions and bodies representing both the commercial and residential sectors. It has a shared goal of accelerating change to a digital property market whilst ensuring it is transparent, secure, and user-friendly. Much good progress has already been made through innovation within the market generally and by collaborative initiatives like the Home Buying and Selling Group (HBSG). The DPMSG members' aims are to support all that by ensuring their collective and individual actions are conducive to that healthy progress. It’s all about pulling together to remove the barriers, fill in the gaps, and speed up progress to a simpler faster and less stressful process.
