Translink has sold the pair of Albion ferries for $400,000… the original asking price was $1.1 million. The Albion ferry shut down after the opening of the Golden Ears Bridge in 2009. The idea for a seabus-like vessel to travel across the Fraser River has been thrown around in recent weeks, and the sale of the ferries presents an interesting opportunity if a business wants to pursue operation. The man who owns the ferry is Elias Haddad and joined the show.
