He not only speaks to the differences of managing and owning but also goes into depth on how he sets the culture for his restaurants and the value of being in the locations.
For episode 2 we talk to franchisee Gina Mejia Scoppa who owns a Carvel in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a second-generation franchisee who grew up in the family business. We discuss the dynamics of a family business and the succession of the next generation. Her business has also been in the neighborhood for 44 years and she talks about maintaining that customer base.
