Lexie and Lindsay Kite, two sisters, graduated from USU with degrees in Journalism and in Communication Studies. During their time here they discovered a passion for the far reaching and negative impacts of focusing on self image especially for women. They later went on to create Beauty Refined, a series of blogs and speeches founded in research that brings light to why the focus on peoples looks are harmful to everyone. Both have also found themselves in careers as development officers. Tune in as Cathy Bullock, head of the Journalism and Communications Department at USU, sits down with them. They discusses how they brought a balance to passion and work, creating meaningful professions they can be proud of.
