The Asian Giant Hornet also known as the "Murder Hornet" is all the rage on social media. NMSU Extension Entomologist and NMDA State Entomologist, Dr. Carol Sutherland helps sort through the hysteria to give you research based information on these hornets.

I was able to get some of the big names behind chile production to sit down and talk to me while we were at the 2020 New Mexico Chile Conference. Chile is such a unique crop that is mostly grown here in the southwest United States and most of that production comes from the driest part of New Mexico. Our state in known for that delicious chile, but did you know that you eat chile in several other food items? We discuss paprika peppers, chile peppers as well as some other popular crops. Dr. Miller has a big passion project that she would like to share about. She introduces the new public speaking contest and the agriculture science fair to be held at the 2020 New Mexico State Fair. She grows weeds on purpose! Dr. Leslie Beck visits with me about all things weeds! Sarah is a home grown Grant County 4-H and Cliff FFA member. She has done some outstanding things in her young life. She has been very successful this year in FFA. Mindy Turner is the NMSU Extension/4-H Youth Specialist. She visits with me about the New Mexico 4-H program and the different 4-H events that are offered to 4-H youth in the state (Home Economics School, Senior Leadership Retreat, State 4-H Conference).
