The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 4th study session on the late Dr. Maya Angelou's The Heart of A Woman. This is a rare "double dip" for the book club, as we read I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings in the summer of 2014 just after the transition of the famed author and Wake Forest scholar. Ironically, when The C.O.W.S. last read Dr. Angelou, she was frolicking as a young lady in San Francisco. Gus T. was inundated with the life and literary work of Dr. Angelou during his recent Golden State sojourn. And it took Gus seeing the documentary film Soundtrack to a Coup d'État three times to accurately write down the title Heart of a Woman. The extraordinary film on the assassination of Patrice Lumumba is "receipt-heavy," and Andrée Blouin and Dr. Angelou's respective memoirs are just two of the many books in the project. Last week, Dr. Angelou described meeting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in New York. Before departing Dr. King told Dr. Angelou that there are some "good White people." Dr. Angelou wondered if he said this because a White Man was listening. She later echoes Dr. King's conclusion, citing the Russians and Fidel Castro, who allegedly never self-identified as a White Man. While Dr. Angelou is globetrotting and drinking with White Men, her son is threatened by a gang of "worthless" black males. Her son Guy seems to insist with every other sentence that he: "Is a man." Dr. Angelou writes over and over about the impotence, unnecessariness, and failure of black manhood. The Context of White Supremacy hosts a Counter-Racist Review of the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. It's very likely Gus T. would not be hosting this broadcast and would have had substantially less to say if he skipped the recent visit to the "Golden State" and the "City of Angels" specifically. It's poignant that Gus's primary problem with Los Angeles was the air pollution - which agitated his sinuses for the duration of his time there. Also, Gus sat on the beach in Malibu - close to where some of houses have burned to ashes - and proclaimed that climate change would destroy all the houses and property in the area. He was thinking of the encroaching sea level and gave no thought to the routine, and devastating wildfires. We'll review the impact of the Palisades, Eaton and other blazes that have killed at least 24 people and razed tens of thousands of acres. A half million children - many of them classified as non-white - missed school this week. And nearly a thousand convicts, again, many of them classified as non-white - have been deployed to battle the deadly blazes for (roasted) peanuts a day. The National Guard has been deployed to detain and discourage "looters" and to restrict access to still smoldering properties. We'll also make time to review how the uncontrolled infernos have further poisoned the Southern California air - which was far from pristine for starters. Dr. Angelou chose to honestly divulge her shortcomings when offered a job early in her career. A number of non-white listeners shared their own view on this matter, and they chose to remain quiet while learning as much as possible while in the new position. We also hear a number of reminders about why non-white people should avoid wearing headphones/earbuds while in the workplace. It's vital to be cognizant of what's being said and happening around you in your work area. We'll also review the sentencing of Major Michael Stockin who, according to FOX13 Seattle news, "Pleaded guilty in military court Tuesday to a total of 41 specifications." This including groping the genitals of numerous male soldiers. A reported Terrorist attack in New Orleans, Louisiana hours into 2025 resulted in15 people being killed when a motorist drove a truck over a pedestrian path in the French Quarter. The attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, engaged in gun fire with the police and is reported to have had explosive devises as well. Hours later, a Tesla cybertruck exploded in front of a Las Vegas, Nevada Trump hotel. The White motorist may have been deceased prior to the detonation. President Joe Biden announced that at this moment, there's no evidence linking the Nevada and Louisiana attacks. A black male, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, is suspected of acting alone in New Orleans and of being influenced by the terrorist group ISIS. The Nevada attacker is reportedly a Colorado Springs White Man and former Green Beret who has not been connected with ISIS. Both suspects have military experience and spent time at North Carolina's Fort Bragg. Gus T. emphasized the number of black male veterans who've engaged in recent acts of mass violence. With Gus just back from California and still in the midst of cataloging and receiving constructive material from numerous White institutions, we pause to revisit audio of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. 3rd generation general and child psychiatrist Dr. Welsing had a signature public exchange with Stanford University's Nobel Prize winning scholar and Race Solider Dr. William Shockley - who was renown for his views on the intellectual deficits of people classified as black. Gus T. thought these two scholars had one public debate on journalist Tony Brown's platform. This is false. Dr. Welsing and Dr. Shockley had a number of exchanges, and Stanford University has Shockley's personal recordings of several of these exchanges. Just this week, a Senate investigation found that Jeff Bezos's workers were discouraged from seeking medical attention beyond Amazon and that the online behemoth lied to minimize the dangers of their work environment. We heard from a non-white employee who skipped a retirement ceremony for a departing White colleague. Because of his passive aggressive behavior towards her, she concluded that her immediate White supervisor was dissatisfied with her absence. We revisit the logic and consequences regarding attending or avoiding workplace parties that may be after hours (and with alcoholic beverages). A pivotal figure in the history of counter-racism/anti-colonialism throughout the continent of Africa, Blouin is not as well known as South Africa's Madiba and Winnie Mandela, Kenya's Maus Maus and other freedom fighters who participated in combating White Terrorism in Africa. However, Blouin was of monumental importance and, consequently, a target of CIA/White Supremacy campaigns. Gus T. was ignorant about Ms. Blouin, but she was prominently featured in the new documentary, Soundtrack to a Coup d'État - which examines the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The film makes time to quote from Blouin's autobiography about the efforts to assassinate she, her family and Lumumba. Last week, Blouin described herself as a "militant," but made time to say: "It would be unfair to say that all the whites in the Congo were detestable (Racist)" Gus noted how cliché this remark is - especially for a "militant." She then turned to say the real enemies of Africa are Africans (non-white people). She also described the extraordinary faith Patrice Lumumba placed in her - including battling on her behalf publicly. Penny is schedule to join 2-time president-elect Donald Trump at the annual Army vs Navy football contest. They'll have an elegant suite to view the brain damage and concussions. It was reported this week that Amazon will donate $1 million in cash to Trump inauguration next month. Days after the death of Golubski, privileged black males Cedric Warren and Dominic Moore were released from prison after being caged for decades for a murder they did not commit. Suspected Rapist Roger Golusbki was the White Supervisor in charge of this unjust investigation. Suspected White Assassin Luigi Mangione was arrested and charged with killing White insurance CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione was recently employed at the prestigious Stanford University, and his White parents suspect he may have been in the San Francisco area during the last few weeks while Gus T. was still there. Disturbingly, many Whites across the country, and even here in Seattle, seem supportive of Mangione's public, and cowardly, execution of a White insurance executive. We discussed the case of Houston firefighter Melinda Abbt, who was awarded $850K after her coworkers on the Houston Fire Department stole graphic photo and video content from her computer and distributed it widely. This is another reminder of why non-white people should have a strict code about using your phone or laptops in the workplace. Assume your colleagues will copy your entire hard drive if given the chance. Gus recommends notifying your supervisor and others authority figures in the workplace if you receive pornographic content. Golubski was under house arrest and legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. #RulesAreForNiggras For decades, Golubski allegedly raped black girls and females and falsely confined black males. It's likely this death will formally end all legal proceedings regarding this case. Meanwhile in Wisconsin, criminal proceedings against accused killer Maxwell Anderson have been delayed. Anderson is charged will killing and dismembering 19-year-old Sade Robinson earlier this year. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 12/06/24. Two different reports highlighted how safety is being compromised because of staffing shortages. The years' long deficit of air traffic controllers is already being blamed for potential holiday log jams for "christmas" fliers. And just this week NPR detailed how the lack of special education teachers makes the job more dangerous for students and staff. The peanuts/low wages offered for this grueling work also makes this job vulnerable to high turnover and shortages. Again, with White Genetic Annihilation and the aging White population, the staffing problems will not improve any time soon. We also revisit black people being accused of workplace theft.
