Captain Marvel & Leaving Neverland

Busy week. We're joined by Brit Harsh to share our thoughts about Captain Marvel. We also want to talk about the new Michael Jackson documentary (that some of us watched) - and what that means for the King of Pop's legacy. After that we talked about the flat earth theory and the new documentary Behind the Curve. Finally, we wrapped up the week talking about how Taco Bell saves lives.


Oscar Recap and the Jussie Smollett Case

A big episode this week. This week we start the episode joined by the official wife of the podcast Sara Novic to recap the Oscars, then Ryan joins the show to talk about the new movie Fighting With My Family, the end of Kimmy Schmidt, and the Jussie Smollett case. The Academy Awards are right around the corner, but before that happens Ryan, Zach, and friend of the show Brit Harsh rank the best movies of 2018.


The FaceTime Bug

Last week Apple had to temporarily disable the FaceTime group chat feature because of a minor security flaw that let you call people and listen to them, even if they didn't answer the call. This week we are joined by Brit Harsh to discuss ways in which we prevent out phones from being hacked and the ways we've seen movies deal they technology that listens in on us. We also discuss the new movie Lego Movie 2: The Second Part and the Netflix/Lifetime series You.


Ariana Grande Tattoo Fail

Ariana Grande got a tattoo of Japanese characters that were supposed to say "7 Rings", supposed to being the keyword. This week Ryan and Zach talk about the tattoo, how she tried to fix it, and other movie characters with regrettable tattoos. They also discuss the Melissa McCarthy movie "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" and the Netflix movie "Polar".


Super Bowl Special II

It's our annual Superbowl episode. And we have... well it's certainly a football game. The Patriots are playing the Rams and it feels like the buzz around the game is small. Maybe that's because all the excitement got sucked out during the NFC Championship game. This week Ryan and Zach talk about all the games involved and share their thoughts on the Oscar nominations, the Netflix movie Roma and both Fyre Festival documentaries that are out now.


Top 5 Negotiation Scenes

The government is still shut down, all because of the master negotiator throwing a hissy fit when Congress refused to give him $5 billion for a wall. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie are getting divorced. If she were to receive half his $136 billion fortune, she'd be the fifth richest person in the world. Will she? Ryan and Zach try to guess just how many times over she'll be able to buy all the tea in China after this is settled. They also share their thoughts on the new movie The Favourite and the Netflix interactive movie Bandersnatch.


The Antonio Brown Problem

The Pittsburgh Steelers expected to make the Superbowl this year, but they didn't even make the playoffs. One problem is their star players didn't show up. First, it was Le'Veon Bell - now it's Antonio Brown. What is going on in Pittsburgh? This week we try and figure it out. We also make our predictions for who makes the big game and share our thoughts on Vice and Bird Box.
