Can you dig it! The final season is upon us. Season 7 has started hot out of the gates with Megan, Chaough and Pete out in LA, the rest of the crew working with a Mr. Rodgers of a new Creative leader and Joan getting ankle deep in the business of... business. Great to be back with all our recappers.
He we are folks, the finale for season 6, In Care Of. This is full of twists and turns that ultimately leave Don with a very uncertain future. We hope you have enjoyed this recap season as much as we have enjoyed bringing it too you. Again thank you to all who participate from the website to iTunes to facebook and twitter and of course all of the great emails. See you for Season 7.
Favors. A real tough one as Don gets caught with his pants down, and Peggy catches a rat, kind of. Pete's mother's nurse is a little too into his work, and Bob Benson reveals his true feelings. Thanks for all the great emails, tweets and posts.
A Tale of Two Cities is the newest Mad Men episode for the recappers to tackle, and so they have. Seeing Don, Harry and Roger take on the west coast with interesting results, watching Joan, Peggy and Pete figure out Avon calling, and watching that amazing Bob Benson. Enjoy this one folks.
The Crash is full of high octane, out of left field stuff including some more Don/Dick Flashback action, a long lost grandma and Cutler's doctor offering to cure what ails you. Great Mailbag today. Enjoy!!
For Immediate Release, here it is. Looks like we are saying good bye to Trudy and good riddance to Herb from Jag. Roger is back to bringing in business, and Don comes up with an idea that will reshape the advertising world (dramatic pause). Great bunch of emails and the tweets were great this week, Thanks.
The Flood deals with some heavy material, and who better to recap that for you than Paul and Dr. John. From Peggy's hunt for a home to Ginzos dating technique to the Pete vs Crane battle of the twits this show brings it. Thanks for all the great iTunes/email/Facebook/website participation.
Doing it twice! Mad Men Recap is back with the good doctor to talk about the "To Have and To Hold". There is Swingers, Telephone restaurants, timecard scandals, Harry Crane freak outs and much much more!! Great emails and such a fun time with the live tweets.
Who has it better than us? Nobody! Mad Men Recap is back with the good doctor to talk about the Collaborators and all it's twists and turns from Pete losing his man card to Don working the doctor's wife and Peggy trying to come up with copy for a new kind of feminine powder. Great emails and such a fun time with the live tweets.
Well……. you ever wonder why Batman never let Robin fight crime on his own with just batwomen? Well if you ever did this is why. Kate and Paul do a show without Dr. John to start off the new season of MMRC with a bang… Try to enjoy.
Yes, it's been a while, but here we are, on the door step to another season of our favorite show, and the recap is ready to get all over season six. But before we kick off this next chapter, MMR would like to reflect on the world of Mad Men. Here is a brief discussion of the show to this point, leading up to our annual predictions episode all to set the stage for Season Six.
The fifth season of Mad Men has concluded with aptly named "The Phatom." Phantom's abound as Don sees the phantom of his dead brother, the phantom of Lane hangs over the office, Pete's sees the phantom of his affair. Great end to a great season. As always, wonderful comments, and we are looking forward to a great mail bag show coming up soon.
Commissions and Fees, a great, and a greatly sad episode finds it's way to the recap. We say good bye to a long time friend, we will miss you Mr. Pryce. Don finds a little of the old fire, and Sally is growns up and growns up and growns up. So much great feedback, you'll have to check out our recap to learn the new plan for the mailbag. Keep 'em coming folks, they are great.
The Other Woman has arrived and has got Peggy moving on, Joan is moving up and Megan is moving forward. Great episode, and great contributions as always from our listener. (we apologize for Paul's coughing at the end of the show…. oops)
Is your dance card full? Oh, no? Then please join us for a Christmas Waltz. Crane finds religion and maybe an STD. Don really isn't that into theater, and Lane apparently minored in tracing. Great show and great emails from all the listeners.
