Ale of a Time

We are back, with an update on Shortjaw happenings and some GABS chat. Same ol' Luke and Dave, just across an a sea.

We introduce a new fish to the Ale of a Time family (although whales are mammals but whatever).

Renae and Scott from Wolf of the Willows join us to talk about imperial porter, seltzer, nutrition panels, and private jets.

This week we talk Cold IPA with Renn Blackman, and find out the growth and change happening down Torquay and Geelong way, with Geelong's favourite brewery.

This week we unpack some thoughts on the Fermentum (Stone & Wood sale), before diving into a great chat with Chloe Hoiberg and Michael Stanzel from Burnley Brewing. The brewery has had a lot of changes recently so it's cool to check in and see how they are going.

We're joined by the duo from Love Shack Brewing Co; Conna Mallet and Harry Cox. The new(ish) brewery began life literally in a shack, but are in the process of moving out. Find out their story til now, and where they are headed.

It's been a long time since we've caught up the Hop Nation team, and Dunc brings us up to speed on all things seltzer, beer, wine, food, festivals and announces a new, super exciting project.

Just Luke and Dave this week. We talk about a bunch of things, including excessively stacked parmas and bad cocktails.

This week Jon Seltin joins us to chat all things Brick Lane, including why it's easier now to make low alcohol beer, high gravity brewing, and what's going on with the expansion.

We stop in (virtually!?!) on Dan Taranto from The Otter's Promise to see how he's doing, and find out how the whole lockdown has changed his business. Good insight from a small business owner during this painful time. We also talk guff about hazies and dunkels and stuff.

During Good Beer Week, we recorded live from the Catfish with Adam Holiday of Garage Project. It's a live show, so it's pretty chaotic, but fun.

Luke is joined by Tracy Margain and Richard Watkins from BentSpoke, alongside artist Patricia Piccinini. Talking the meeting of beer and art, this is a quiet reflection on collaboration, and how the two worlds can combine.

This week Topher is on line to talk to us about his new Bright Side beers project. The beers are created with smoke tainted wine grapes, a product that is useless for wine makers but has potential as a beer ingredient. Also the people who won a prize for reading these: coming soon. Playing a bit of catch up with Patron beer deliveries but I haven't forgot!

This week we are talking Patron beer, beer slugs, light struck, lasagna toppers and vodka cruisers.

This week Luke and Dave just shootin the breeze over a beer. We talk Good Beer Week, Voodoo Ranger, and announce our Patron beer launch date.
