The USGA has announced a plan to roll back the golf ball in 2026 for the highest level of golfers. Is this a good idea and does it solve the distance problem on tour? Tursky and Knudson talk about the pros and cons of this change for the tour and amateur golfers.

Cobra has updated their utility iron with the new King Tec Utility. The new iron features a hollow body with foam filling, Powershell face, and a bonded hosel. This is a huge influence on how relaxed you will be able to stay in your golf swing with each practice shot. The wrong options bring about the wrong unnecessary tension which will affect the rhythm and timing.This makes your job three times more difficult.

Tursky was down at Bay Hill and got to see Xander's new prototype Odyssey putter. Patrick Cantlay did some shaft testing recently, trying out some heavier options. The Arnold Palmer had a massive display where you could actually hit The King's golf clubs!

The new Ping G430 woods are of course stable and forgiving, but add in balls speed and improved sound! The LST is lower spin and launch while still being forgiving for mid handicaps. The Max is very forgiving and allows you to hit it all over the face and still get a solid shot out of it. The G430 7 wood is easy to launch and easy to hit from the turf!

We have a wonderful eb and flow, ham and egg, team dynamic where Shawn gets the full base of the technique ingrained and Mu enhances and turbo charges the technique and fills in the gaps. Truly a blessing to do the good work with such a team.

I have seen, and done, a lot of budget golf bag builds over the years but not like this. I went through and put together a full bag for under $500 that I would actually play! Found clubs that didn't have damage, faces weren't worn, and had the right shafts for under $500! Also reviewed the new Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K #7 CH putter and it is wildly stable!

This year's AT&T Pro Am had a TON of gear changes and brand new gear on display. Our guys Greg Moore and Andrew Tursky were on-site to get all the info as well as see some really cool Arnold Palmer irons that were used to win 3 majors!

Srixon's new ZX5 MkII and ZX7 MkII irons are coming in with a ton of hype! Time to review both irons and see how they live up to the ZX legacy. The ZX7 feels extremely soft and solid with great responsiveness while the ZX5 offers good feel with distance and forgivness! The Z-Forged II is a beautiful blade with buttery soft feel and the popular Tour VT sole.

The 2023 PGA Show came to a close this week, but there were a ton of great products and better people down there. A lot of items down there are stuff that we have seen already, but I found a few great items that I didn't know existed.
