In this episode, Shenan shares how being bullied drove him into criminal activities, drugs and alcohol abuse, and how one insight that he received while hiding in a bush, caused him to change his life. He tells us about his wish to own a Tim Hortons, and how he went about this extremely challenging adventure. Shenan also talks about success and coaching and the power of love, and how he gives back to the community by helping (young) gang members transform their lives. This is Episode 6 of A Magnificent Mind! Today Jan and Marnix have an amazing guest: author, mentor, speaker and coach Andy Chaleff! In 1990, Chaleff left the U.S. to escape the pain of his mother's death, who was killed by a drunk driver when he was 18-years-old. In 2018 Chaleff came out with his first book, 'The Last Letter', about his journey of healing. His second book is called 'The Wounded Healer', and it's about Andy's trip across the US where he invited many people to share their 'last letters' with him during incredibly moving group sessions. In today's very lively conversation, Andy, Jan and Marnix talk about all the things that make life awesome and colorful and worthwhile: love, death, vulnerability, relationships and using the word 'fuck' in a very constructive and healing way.
