I have found this to be a great way to do the hard work of addressing issues in your life that need addressed while doing it in a safe place.

We took about 6 weeks and didn't record any podcasts. The truth of the matter is that I (J.) was going through heavy depression. Things have gotten so much better but now what do we do???? We tell the world all about it. We hope this story of recent depression, coping mechanisms and much more will help you as you fight or help someone fight for life.

#42 Suicide: Dealing with Tragedy

After some national and local suicides, we decided to revisit the topic of suicide and approach it from the perspective of those that have been hurt. Again, C50 desires to help the diagnosed as well as those affected.
Many people are connected to the recent, local tragedy we have experienced and we have permission to use language that addresses the local situation, short of providing names.
For anyone listening that has been affected by suicide, this is for you.

This is a complicated question. We at C50 believe that once you ask Christ to free you from the bondage of your sin and ask him into your life as Savior, NOTHING can take that away. We believe scripture assures us that believers who commit suicide do go to Heaven.

Hey young ones and older one alike! Caleb was an amazing kid that was in my youth group for a while. He followed some great student worship leaders and did a great job leading. So Proud!
Caleb has now jumped into leading worship at a church plant.
Caleb has struggled with self-worth and self-harm and now is open about his struggle with depression.
