November is National Diabetes Month and guest Dr. Angela Thompson is joining NP Pulse to discuss all things related to diabetes and diabetes care. Diabetes affects more than 37 million Americans, which is about 11% of the population. Approximately 90-95% of people with diabetes have Type 2 diabetes (T2D), and people living with T2D are increasingly cared for by nurse practitioners (NPs).
