Brian Belefant and Bernadette Fiaschetti - “Spouse Hunting: Using the Rules of Real Estate to Find the Love of Your Life” - Ep. 3136

3/12/2026
Listen in as Bernadette and Brian meet again, this time to discuss Brian’s book, “Spouse Hunting: Using the Rules of Real Estate to Find the Love of Your Life.” Holy Crap! This book actually works! Brian was single for a long time. Long enough to get tired of dating beautiful women, taking exotic vacations, and partying with other single, rich powerful, good-looking guys. One day it occured to him: What if there was a way to apply what I am really good at (real estate) to what—so far—I pretty much sucked at (finding true love)? Turns out, yep. Just about everyrule I advise my clients to follow in order to buy or sell a home applies to finding true love. Brian Belefant started his career as an advertising copywriter, writing hundreds of commercials for major brands, from Nissan to Pepsi. His short stories appear in American Writers Review, Magpie Messenger, Story Unlikely, Libretto, and Half and One. He has written two novels and a how-to book, Spouse Hunting: Using the Rules of Real Estate to Find the Love of Your Life (spoiler alert: it works!). He is also an award-winning fine art photographer, a father, and the best friend of a goofball dog who loves everybody except Santa Claus. Monica Nassif - “I Bottled My Mother: The Mrs. Meyer’s Story: Grit, Grime & Growing a Business” - Ep. 3135

3/5/2026
Monica Nassif didn’t just build a brand—she bottled a legacy. I Bottled My Mother is the gritty, hilarious, heartfelt origin story behind Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, the cult-favorite cleaning line inspired by Monica’s real-life mom, Thelma Meyer: a whip-smart, no-nonsense Midwesterner who raised nine children with little more than elbow grease, common sense, and a garden full of vegetables.Part startup manual, part memoir, this is the candid story of how one woman turned domestic skills into corporate strategy, and a small soap company into a household name. From a chaotic Iowa childhood to a career in brand building and product development, Monica brings us inside the messy business of entrepreneurship—one that began on her kitchen floor and grew into a national retail presence with shelves in Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, and beyond. Told in short, sharp chapters with warmth and wit, this is a story about startups, motherhood, and the power of building something honest, authentic and good. For anyone who’s ever asked: “How do I make my way in the world using what I already have?”—this book is your bottle of encouragement. Meet Mrs. Meyers: the 93-year-old woman who gave birth to nine children in ten years. Monica Nassif is a founder, entrepreneur, brand builder, and motivational speaker known for pioneering success in the consumer household cleaning product market through her ventures including Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day. Fearless with a can-do, hands-on approach to running a business, Nassif launched four startups. Two succeeded and two flopped. Her most successful venture, the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day brand, completely revolutionized the $30 billion U.S. consumer market of household cleaning products. She created aromatherapeutic and earth-friendly products with a consistent fragrance and performance across all types of household cleaners—counter-top spray, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent and more. Nassif built two brands in this new premium category: Caldrea and Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day. She didn’t just build the Mrs. Meyer’s brand from scratch—Nassif bottled a legacy—her mother. The cult-like favorite cleaning line was inspired by Nassif’s real-life mom, Thelma Meyer: a whip-smart, no-nonsense Midwesterner who raised nine children with little more than elbow grease, commonsense and a garden full of vegetables. Nassif believes in the power of building authentic and authoritative brands to stand the test of time. She sold her company to SC Johnson in 2008, and the Mrs. Meyer’s brand continues to thrive in the marketplace. To this day, Nassif inspires entrepreneurs and founders with her success story of hard work, perseverance and marketing savvy. She launched her career with Target Corporation in marketing communications as a speechwriter, editor and publicist. She continued her career by launching a marketing communications agency in Minneapolis called Kilter Incorporated. The agency served consumer product brands and retail companies, such as Target. During that time, she honed her talent for building beloved brands.

Claudette Fette, Ph. D. - “No Saints Here: A Cautionary Tale of Mental Illness, Health and the Cost of Ignorance in the Lone Star State” -Ep. 3134

2/27/2026
Claudette Fette, Ph. D., is an occupational therapist focused on supporting youth, families, and people living with mental illness. She teaches about mental health at Texas Woman’s University School of Occupational Therapy and continues to be active supporting mental health initiatives at local, state and national levels. She has written about mental health for professional journals and contributed to books on the subject. She currently serves on advisories for the National Family Support Technical Assistance Center and the Advancing School Mental Health conference. No Saints Here presents Claudette Fette and her son Aaron’s experiences as a cautionary tale while offering better alternatives based on Claudette’s years as a scholar and therapist. They share their hard lessons to encourage us to reject ignorance and accelerate the development of a smarter, healthier culture for generations to follow. Aaron Fette lived with mental illness all his life. At age 15, he envisioned himself as a modern-day Jack Kerouac, living an adventure on the road that he would chronicle in his writing. Instead, after numerous ineffective interventions, he found himself fleeing from paranoid delusions that drove him from city to city. As a victim of abuse, a drug addict and alcoholic, and as a survivor of the US justice system, Aaron’s story offers a unique perspective on some of the thorniest issues in our society today. He died of an opioid overdose in a homeless encampment under Interstate 35 in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 2, 2017. His mother, Claudette, now an occupational therapist and college professor, weaves her son’s story into an examination of the critical crossroads in education, mental health and the judicial system — and offers families in crisis a guide for navigating the often-arcane services. Mark Reinisch, Life Coach & Humorist - “The Wellness Ethic” How to Thrive in an Unpredictable World (Where Stupid Things Can Happen) - Ep. 3123

11/22/2025
In his smart, timely and sharply funny new book, The Wellness Ethic: How to Thrive in an Unpredictable World (Where Stupid Things Can Happen), author and life coach Mark Reinisch challenges the outdated “work ethic” model that values success over health, happiness and soul. His antidote: wellness ethic lifestyle design — a bold, practical approach to building a life that works for you, on your terms. In a world that feels more chaotic, disconnected and demanding by the day, author and life coach Mark Reinisch delivers a refreshingly practical and accessible framework for a well-designed life in his new book, The Wellness Ethic: How to Thrive in an Unpredictable World (Where Stupid Things Can Happen). Backed by science and inspiring, real-world experiences (not just credentials), Reinisch lays out seven essential components — mind, body, spirit, relationships, personal pursuits, professional pursuits and lifestyle maintenance — that form the backbone of what he calls “wellness ethic lifestyle design,” a simple yet powerful concept that empowers readers to build their lives, on their own terms, around what actually brings them joy and fulfillment. “Lifestyle design is the opposite of running on autopilot, and it is essential to your overall wellbeing,” Reinisch said. “With lifestyle design, the objective is to get to the heart of what you really want in life and then make it your reality.” What makes Reinisch’s approach stand out from the legions of other self-help books is his remarkably simple approach: the 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto principle, derived from the work of Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto. It states that approximately 80% of the results (outcomes) are driven by 20% of the actions (inputs). “When you apply the 80/20 rule to your life, it can be a game changer,” Reinisch said. “For example, the 80/20 rule suggests that 80% of the benefits of spirituality can be attained by embracing the most vital 20% of spiritual practices. Similarly, 80% of the benefits of taking care of your body can be realized by simply adopting the most vital 20% of physical wellness practices. It’s the key to making wellness attainable and sustainable.” Written to be the antidote to self-help books that are “too damn boring,” The Wellness Ethic is a compelling, fun-to-read book with humor and personal stories that make the wellness concepts spring to life. “It is the rare self-help book that you won’t be able to put down, unless the sheer bulk of it tires your arms and you drop it,” Reinisch quipped. Merrick Rosenberg - ‘Personality Intelligence: Master The Art of Being You (For Your Sake and Everyone Else’s)’ - Ep. 3122

11/17/2025
Listen in as trailblazing entrepreneur Merrick Rosenberg and Bernadette Fiaschetti discuss ‘Personality Intelligence: Master The Art of Being You (For Your Sake and Everyone Else’s).“An understanding of all the personality styles - not just our own - reveals the path to becoming the highest expression of ourselves.” Merrick Rosenberg is a trailblazing entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and the foremost expert on how personality shapes behavior, relationships, and success. In 2012, he revolutionized the DISC personality model by reimagining the classic letters as four memorable birds—Eagle, Parrot, Dove, and Owl—making the styles instantly visual, relatable, and unforgettable. Merrick is the co-founder of Team Builders Plus (1991) and Take Flight Learning (2012), and has brought his innovative approach to more than two-thirds of the Fortune 100. He’s the author of eight award-winning books on personality and leadership, including Taking Flight!, The Chameleon, and Which Bird Are You?, and is the creative force behind the acclaimed short film BirdBrains, Inc., winner of 23 film festival awards. His newest book, Personality Intelligence: Master the Art of Being You (For Your Sake and Everyone Else’s), was released in September 2025 and offers a bold new framework for personal and professional transformation. Merrick’s journey began in management consulting, where he quickly realized that real change requires more than process—it demands people who understand and work well with each other. Driven by this insight, he earned an MBA in Organizational Development and founded one of the first team-building companies in the U.S. From there, he pioneered a new era of personality-based training that blends self-awareness with interactive learning. Through his energetic keynotes, engaging programs, and innovative tools, Merrick continues to help people unlock their potential by mastering the one thing they carry with them everywhere: their personality. In his newest book, Personality Intelligence: Master the Art of Being You (Sept 2025) offers a reimagination of the traditional DISC method of personality assessments into four intuitive birds (Eagle, Parrot, Dove, Owl). The personality test created by Merrick has been taken by more than 15 million people and is now used by two-thirds of the Fortune 100. Through real-world stories, celebrity profiles (such as Keanu Reeves, The Rock, and Taylor Swift), and strategies for work, leadership, relationships, and parenting, Personality Intelligence reveals how to level up through four stages of “Personality Intelligence” to become a more self-aware, adaptable, and successful version of yourself. “Keanu Reeves’ Dove nature has made him renowned not just for his kindness, but also for his acts of selflessness and generosity that exemplify the Level 3 Dove,” says Rosenberg. “Swifties love the fact that no one can mess with Swift and get away with it. That’s her Eagle side. Dwayne Johnson embodies all four styles. Understanding your personality is only the beginning. Real transformation comes from intentional action.” CONNECT: Personal website: https://www.MerrickRosenberg.com Company website: https://www.TakeFlightLearning.com X: @MerrickR Instagram: Merrick_Rosenberg Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MerrickR LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/merrickrosenberg

CHELSEA ANN, MSN, FNP, "The Feminine Effect: Discovering Your True Nature" Ep. 3118

10/23/2025
This is a message for all women: Conditioned by parental viewpoints and societal rules, women have long twisted themselves into unrecognizable identities to adhere to these demands—striving after power as defined by men, only to find themselves exhausted and unhappy. What if this centuries-long attempt to excel in a world with masculine values took women in the wrong direction? What if they no longer know what it means to be a woman? What, indeed, is the true nature of a woman? Chelsea Ann’s mission is to take women back to their authenticity—to who they really are—and she does this by asking women to feel and see her life as she did: a life that has taken her from the extremes of poverty and wealth, of great fear and power, of divorce and death, and finally into laughter and joy and unconditional love. She represents all the best and worst parts of being a woman, all the while confirming those inklings women have to follow their hearts that, up to now, they haven’t dared to honor.
