Susan Gold was raised in a challenging and chaotic family system, the middle child of five. To fully thrive, she bravely chose to meet the demons of her upbringing that were continuing to repeat. Payton Lynch is a Lead Product Manager at The Walt Disney Company. From a young age, storytelling has been an important part of her life, teaching her to understand and engage audiences. In 2020, she decided to take the plunge and dedicated herself to sharing the inspiration she has gained from her husband and other 9/11 Surviving Children. Her first book, Rise From the Ashes, which interviews children of 9/11, was inspired by her husband’s experience losing his father that day.
