Lvl 190: Be Sad. But Don't Worry.

4/20/2022
Woah wtf, man? Isn't it... Don't worry. Be HAPPY?? Idk man. Life sucks sometimes. Shit happens. Like I ain't about to sit there at a funeral of a loved one and be in a jolly chipper mood, ya know? I ain't about to get a phone call from a doctor and tell me I'm diagnosed with some terminal illness and jump for joy. Don't get me wrong. I ain't sayin you gotta live in sorrow in woe. But to act all cheery even in the least cheerful of moments is being fake. And as you know, the one thing you should NOT procrastinate on is telling the truth. Be honest with yourself. Be honest about how you feel. Sometimes you ain't happy. And that's okay. Welcome to life. Welcome to being human. Part of life as a human being is experiencing the range of emotions that life has to offer. Besides, what is happiness if sadness wasn't a thing? Woah man getting philosophical n' shit! But seriously, you can't have good without the bad and vice versa. But just because the bad happens nd you're not happy about it, doesn't mean you gotta let it linger. That leads us to the "Don't worry" whole part of this. Shit happens. But that doesn't mean you gotta leave it in the toilet. Flush it down and move on with life. That is to say, don't ruminate over bad feelings. Certainly, go ahead and grieve or even get angry when you need to, but don't let those feelings linger on for too long. Let it go.

Lvl 189: Do With Time What You Want, Not What You Feel Obligated to Do

4/1/2022
It's nice choosing to do things you, for lack of a better phrase, actually freaking WANT to do, rather than going about always doing what you quote on quote "have to do", even if it's something as simple as reading an e-mail from a blogger you like. Here's the secret though, fellow procrasitn8r and I really want you to take this away today: You do not. I repeat do...NOT "have to" do anything. You read that right! All the work projects, chores, bills to pay. Nope don't have to do them. Of course, ya know there are CONSEQUENCES for NOT doing them. But hey, you're free to choose not to do them anyway, despite those consequences. You see what I'm getting at here? You are free to do what you want, when you want to, if you even want to at all. Man, I'll tell ya. Let me put it this way: Do you know what time it is? quicks check clock Time, yeah something we're all aware of, as humans. You may at times feel you "don't have enough time" to do the things you want to. Nah, fam. You do. See, there's time and what you decide to do with it. It's really that simple. A procrastin8r lays on the couch all day. He doesn't get shit done. But you know what he does do? And you may say NOTHING. He doesn't do shit. And to that I say, exactly. And nothing is exactly what he wants to be doing. He doesn't care about obligation. He doesn't care about time or running out of it. He just abides, lives life in the moment, does what he wants. Now I'm not directly trying to support doing nothing and sitting around like a bum, literally speaking. I'm talking figuratively and by figuratively I mean you want to adopt the MINDSET of the procrastin8r who lies around all day doing nothing. You see what he's doing though? I mean cause despite the Cheetos chained t-shirt and messy room, which admittedly is a pretty bad look, the Dude does what he wants. He lives a life of desire, not obligation. He's not bound to some sort of arbitrary "work protocol" or whatever. To him, there is nothing that MUST be done, nothing that HAS to get done. There's only doing what he wants to do. Now again, I'm not necessarily saying you should choose to put off going to work or paying bills, but to be aware that that is a CHOICE you make. Choices always have conseuqences. You just gotta choose what's worth it to you. And by making a choice, you are saying "I value you these benefits over the other". You're no longer saying BUT I HAVE TO! No! Stop! You literally do not have to do anything. It's just the benefits versus consequences you get for deciding to do something. Do what you want, man. it's the lazy way. Lvl 188: Getting Old. Staying Lazy.

3/21/2022
Here are some words from a Wise Old Man.... That's me. The wise old man. Debatable about "wise" I suppose XD But I just turned 31 this past weekend. (merry goddamn birthday me!) Now to some of you, that's really friggin old. To others, that's actually pretty damn young. And to others, well you might just be around the same age and in the same boat. I'll tell you what, it's a weird age. Being in your thirties. Because I'm young enough to still be considered "young" by the majority of the "adult world". But I'm old enough to be considered literally freaking ancient by kids. Anyway, I'm writing to you today because I've been reflecting lately about this whole little process of aging here. And trust me, it's not really something you think about until you're "old enough." Ya know aging is something inevitable. It's something we look forward to as a kid and something we resent about once we actually hit that age. Kinda funny. But I'm at the point now where I look back a decade and think to myself "Man, that doesn't seem TOO long ago." Ten years, buddy. That's a long time. But it's weird. One day you're just a kid playing on the street. The next you're adult full of "sponserbilities" as Tommy Pickles would say. Life will pass you by and you may reach an age or point in your life where you're like "how in the hell did I end up here?" Like, what actually fucking happened? And you'll look back at some days with nostalgia, thinking to yourself "ahh, yeah I remember the good ole days." You know what the good ole days were? Sippin' Capri Sun, trading Pokemon cards, and eating Fruit Roll Ups and Warheads. At least that was my childhood anyway. You probably have yours and can at least relate to the sentiment. or maybe it was playing board games in the college dorm 'til 3 in the morning, showing up to class in PJs late, as usual. Oh the memories! But ya know, we look back at times in our lives and wish we could go back. I mean I don't care what age you are. I mean unless you're like under fifteen, maybe, there's some "era" of your life you look back upon with nostalgia. And if you really think about where this nostalgia is coming from, it's coming from the sense that you were actually ALIVE during those moments. You were actually LIVING. We go through the motions, day in and day out. Having the same conversations with the same people during the same days of the week at the same place. Life can become boring, so mundane. We get trapped in this "boredom prison" called "adulthood. But adulthood doesn't have to be boring. And at that, getting old doesn't have to be a miserable experience. Sure, we have a lot more responsibilities on our plate. But that just means you gotta take care of yourself. That doesn't mean you can't have fun. That doesn't mean you can't "play". Play, yeah, that's something you did as a kid, remember? Oh yeah, those were the good ole days, huh? You know why? Let me tell you something. Most people die by the age of 27 and are just buried in the ground by the time they hit their 80s. You see what I'm saying, man? Do you? The only reason "the good ole days" are the good ole days is because that was a time you were actually doing this cool thing called LIVING. You gotta take it slow, man. Life is short and if you let it rush on by, you'll miss all the really cool moments. The good ole days weren't back then. They weren't in the past. The good ole days are NOW. They're happening NOW. Right here, right now. Take life slow. One step, one moment at a time. And I guarantee you, age will just be a number. Lvl 187: Things That Make a P2E Game Profitable Long-Term (and Worth Playing)

3/11/2022
Getting paid to play video games? Sounds too good to be true. And believe me, I thought it was too. But now I'm doing this pretty much "full-time". I invest my time (and money) in these play to earn games and that's pretty much the bulk of my income. I already shared with you a few of these "P2E" games, like BombCrypto and Heroes & Empires, which are sitll up and paying! I also shared with you a recent failure, Level-Up Gaming. Yeah, it closed it's doors. Like all online-money making methods, nothing is really guaranteed to stick around too long. But anyway, there are games out there that I think are built to be sustainable and profitable long-term, at least a couple months maybe even years. Now I don't like sharing specific programs. Why? Well, as you can see clearly, sometimes I happen to share them and then they go sort of M.I.A. Of course, you guys seem to like when I do that, which is why I do it, and perhaps I'll have more "reviews" of sorts int the future. it's all for you guys!...but today. Well, today.... I'd like to start out by saying that I'll admit, I don't always get it right. Sometimes I have high hopes for a program and then it just falls flat on its face. But typically my gains make up for my losses. You guys remember PerkTV from back in the day? Used to be one of the most profitable and passive ways to make money form your smartphone, now a company out of business. I wrote a whole review of that and everything. Same with Level Up Gaming now. The point I'm trying to make here is that I don't want you just regurgitating my portfolio I want you to be able to find your own profitable programs and this case, P2E games. Again, I'm just a lazy dude and not some sort of financial expert though, so always DYOR and take what I say with a grain of salt. I want to share with you today, as total NOT financial advice, what I look for in a solid P2E games, the thinking process I have behind my own research and what elements I look out for. Lvl 186: The Light Side of Lazy

2/25/2022
We're all familiar with the Dark Side of laziness You've heard it all before. "Being lazy means you're nothing but an indolent, unmotivated, wasteful bum." ...at least according to the popular opinion of this work-hard gung-ho society. But man, those are just the bad side of things, the dark side if you will. And just like the force that binds this universe together, there is a light side too, and it's not total darkness. See, it's how you use laziness (the force) that determines the power. Being lazy, if we're looking at the "light side" of it, means you can be relaxed, unfazed, free, efficient. Relaxed meaning you're calm and drama free. Unfazed meaning you stay in emotional control, even in the worst of crises. Free means you do what you want when you want. And efficient, well we all know lazy people find the easiest way to do things. There's such a bad stigma about laziness in society. Yet, if you think about it. Laziness is literally what got us here in this modern technological world in the first place. i mean... Hey, look at you, you're reading this on a screen. I didn't have to write it on a quill and hand deliver it to you personally or send my carrier pigeon. I just typed on a keyboard and it magically appeared as pixels on a screen the pressed a button. Easy, lazy. Legitimately every invention, all matters of innovation were fueled by laziness. There is a Light Side to this little word "lazy", despite everything you've been told. I mean, isn't it ironic though? How there's such a disdain, a pure and utter grotesque distaste towards being lazy in our culture. Yet, here we are, you and I, communicating in this magical connection called the Interwebs. And how are we doing that? Well a couple of lazy bastards decided that hand delivering telegrams was way too much work! You gotta see that laziness is not totally bad, it's not totally dark. You can be LAZY JEDI and do wonderful things. Let's be lazy Rebel scum together! Lvl 185: Investing is the Laziest Thing You Can Do to Become Successful

2/19/2022
We're all investors. ...in some fashion. I mean even if you're not exactly a stock trader on Wall street or a crypto nerd living in your parents basement, we're all investing in some way or another. You see, invest means "to involve or engage" and that doesn't necessarily always mean with our money. I mean it could be that, but we can also invest with our time, our energy, and our emotions. We have limited resources, financial and otherwise. And what I want you to think about, especially if you're still slaving away at a job, is the very fact that you are investing your time and effort (as well as emotional energy 'cause God knows how stress you can get about your job) into it. Like any good investor, you've got to look at the ROI, the Return On Investment, the ultimate "bottom line" an investor will look at when deciding to allocate his/her resources. What's the ROI of investing into a job? Barely being able to afford scraps to eat and a roof over your head? And I mean is it really worth it? Is this ROI, again the return on your investment, really worth all the hassle of grinding forty hours plus a week and maybe even coming home stressing out and getting in arguments with family or the people you live with? Perhaps the costs outweigh the benefits and the truth is, the ROI is utter shit. You look at names like Henry Ford, Mark Zuckerberg, Walt Disney, Bill gates, Warren Buffet and Steve Jobs. These aren't hard working people. Successful, yes, but not hard working. They're lazy bastards who figured out how to invest effectively. They're just smart investors, knowing where to allocate their resource of time, money, and energy. Warren Buffet put it in the right stocks. Walt Disney put it in the right ideas. Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Henry Ford all put it in the right people. Steve Jobs didn't "invent" the iPad. A team of engineers did. He invested in the right team to make it happen. Point is investing is the lazy way to success. All you do is allocate your resources that produce the best possible ROI. All you do is minimize effort and maximize results, baby! So ask yourself, is what your investing in right now worth it? if not, then maybe you gotta do the lazy thing, drop it and find another place to invest. Lvl 184: You are ALWAYS Procrastinating Something

2/11/2022
You are ALWAYS procrastinating something. Always. It's inevitable. Even if you think of yourself as highly productive and diligent person (which I highly doubt, no offence. I mean, you did subscribe to a newsletter about being lazy, right?), you still are procrastinating something. And what is that something? Well, in that case where you're moving around nonstop, perpetually working hard, constantly on the grind, you're procrastinating... rest. You're putting off time to let yourself relax and rejuvenate. You're postponing any sort of leisure activity. And you wind up burnt out and stressed beyond stressed. Man, you gotta aim for balance. Sometimes you gotta procrastinate the rest, sure. But sometimes, you also gotta know when to procrastinate the hard work 'til later. Knowing what to do and when is called Procrastinating with Purpose. It's where you deliberately decide what to do with your time, deliberately decide what to procrastinate on. See it's not a matter of IF you procrastinate or not. It's WHAT you procrastinate ON. It's not necessarily wrong to procrastinate on anything. You can procrastinate too much on something. And that's where balance comes into play. We talk about balance a lot here. Remember the procrastinator never does too much of anything. Living that easy life of balance. Lvl 183: Don't Be a Hero. Be a ProcrastiN8r Sidekick

2/4/2022
We all want to be THE HERO. The one that saves the damsel in distress, the one that slays the evil ogre, the one that defeats the menacing wizard in his tower. But man, we can't all be the protagonist to the world. Some of us, or very well most of us, aren't going to make this huge plot turning event happen in the universe, though we may think that we will. But that's okay, my dudes. It's okay to be average. It's okay to do just enough. We don't have to make our lives this elaborate sort of fairytale that's passed on for generations to come. I mean look at history. Upon the billions and billions of people that ever existed. Think about that. Think about how many people EVER existed, ever. And out of all of them, there's maybe a few dozen names that we remember and write down in the history books. What's more, is not every name we remember is a good person (Hitler, Stalin etc.). Making a name for yourself ain't really all it's cracked up to be, ya know? It's better to accept your role and be happy in it, then to strive for something Maybe you're not the star quarter back in the NFL, but a football coach who winds up coaching the next Tom Brady. Maybe you're not the CEO of the big multi-billion dollar company, but a friend who encouraged him to get there. Maybe you're not the star of a Hollywood film, but the editor/producer that really brings the cinematic piece together. Maybe you're not the knight who slays the dragon, but the sword merchant that sells the knight his weapon that ultimately slays that firebreathing bastard. I know, I know, people will tell you "don't settle". And look... There's a difference between the mindset of thinking "I'm not enough so I can't _ do it" and and I AM enough, so I _won't do it". It's okay to settle, in the sense that you DECIDE, procrastinate with purpose, not to chase after the big heroic role, not because you believe you're incapable of doing so, but because you are happier doing the little sidekick role than you ever would be being in the spotlight. There's a limited amount of spotlights on the stage (of life). While we often like to imagine ourselves in that spotlight, we have to ask ourselves: do we really even want to be there? I mean, really, deep dive and think about it. Do you actually want to play the ROLE of the hero? Or do you just want the prestige that comes with it? We're talking about roles here. And you gotta realize too that prestige, like fame or wealth are just material things. They aren't gonna make you happy. What's gonna make you happy is doing what you want, living a life of freedom, and building strong friendships along the way. You don't necessarily have to be in the spotlight to do that, you dig? Lvl 182: Winter is Here. Stay Hibernated (with your Investments, despite the Crash)

1/28/2022
I told ya'll it was coming. What I say? Winter gets cold and so do the markets. We just witnessed one of the biggest crashes in the market (both stock and crypto) in recent history. And of course, that causes mass hysteria. People panic. People sell. And as people sell, it creates an even bigger dip in the market, instigating even more panic and more sell offs. A perpetual loop. When will it end? Will ti even end? Ever? Or is this it? Is this the end of crypto? Is this the end of the stock market? Well, fellow procrastin8r, while I'm no financial advisor, I don't think we're seeing the END OF TIMES, as everyone seems to believe right now. Literally though, the worse thing you could do during these rather uncertain times is sell. I mean everybody wants to be a part of the market when things are going great, when prices are soaring. You hear all these stories about how people made millions and earned 100x on their investment. But you know what you don't hear? You don't hear how the people who got rich from their investments did the STUPID, crazy thing and invest when the market was in, well for lack of a better term, a complete shit hole, mmm k? You don't make money in the market when it's booming. You make money in the market when people are afraid of it, when prices are low. They need to be low, so you can give it room to soar. You dig? The prices are down now of course, but you haven't lost ANYTHING, until you actually sell. HODL. Procrastinate. It's winter. Go hibernate. Don't give a fuck about the market in the short term. Think long-term. Think "eventually". Eventually things will get better. Eventually the market will recover. It always will and it always has. History is ridden with periodic dips now and then. It's just part of the ride. By the way, to clarify, none of this is financial advice and you're always going to DYOR and make your own informed decsions. I'm just sharing all of this for your entertainment purposes only. Lvl 181: You're Your Best When You're at Rest

1/21/2022
Man, we're constantly moving about, rolling form one task to another, bouncing from one achievement to the next. Swishing between this task to that one. Non-stop. There's always something we gotta do. Something that must be done. I gotta do this at work then I gotta go home and do that, but before I get home I gotta make sure I pick up that one specific thing and run it to so and so. I also gotta make sure I pick up that thing I need from the store. Oh and while I'm there I gotta fill up on gas. Which reminds me! I'm due for an oil change. Speaking of which, we're out of cooking oil too. Oh I gotta prep meals for the week. Shit, wait, should I pick up bread too? Oh no I gotta run to the bank first and deposit my check. I forgot to do that. Oh and speaking of paycheck, II also have to call my boss tonight and prepare for the meeting tomorrow morning. Boom, boom, boom! Quick pace. Go, go, go! Speed is the main stress inducer in life. Moving fast is what causes us to feel so overworked and so overwhelemed. Man, ya gotta take it easy. I mean that. Yeah, the holidays is over, but that doesn't mean you stop resting, In fact, your performance is best when you are at rest, contrary to popular belief. Being tired and running on coffee to keep you functioning is okay in society, but stopping to take a break, actually giving yourself the time you need to rejuvenate? Well you better re-think yourself you lazy son of a bitch! Get off your ass! We need to slow down. Stop once in a while, when we need to. We're gonna reach burn out if we're constantly pushing ourselves to make more, do more, be more. Do less. Live more. Do less with more focus. Do less. And be sure to rest. Take time to listen to this episode and take it easy, man. Lvl 180: No Need to Rush to Get in Done in a Year

1/14/2022
New year. Same old lazy me. 2022 is just gonna be another year of embracing my laziness. Seriously, there's this heavy push to make this ambitious gun-ho achievement within 365 days called a New Year's Resolution. And it ain't nothing but bullshit. I'll tell you what's gonna happen if you make the sad attempt to put yourself through hell and actually make one. You'll either completely burn out before you make it even close to your oh so grand resolution or... You'll get it done but do such a shitty job at it that it barely even counts as complete. It's better to take your time, reaching your goals eventually and not rush to get it done within twelve months time. Progress takes time, more than a single friggin year, dude. You ain't gonna lose that weight or change your attitude to be more positive or build your own income from home within a one goddamn year. But it's okay. You'll get there...eventually. Eventually is the way to do it. "Eventually" is the attitude you need, to actually achieve your resolution and not just give up on it because you aren't getting there quickly enough. I mean, you may necessarily achieve your New Year's Resolution by next year 2023, but unlike the millions of people who make a goal and have it amount to jack didly squat, you'll be moving every steady and ever slowly towards it, always getting better, always evolving. Use the New Year's Resolution to remind yourself to slowly, but surely level up, in your own time, not as some over-ambitious promise to yourself to change your ways and your entire life in the short span of just 52 straight weeks. It's not gonna happen. Point blank. You're not going to transform in a year. Change takes time. Progress takes time. Goals take time. Embrace and trust the process. Embrace and trust your laziness. You'll get there...eventually. Not by the end of this year, not by 2023 or even 2027. But eventually. Lvl 179: Level-Up Your Income by Playing Online Arcade Games

1/7/2022
You used to spend tokens at the arcade...and now you can EARN tokens at the arcade! That's right, I've got for you today another Play to Earn gaming platform; this one is called "Level-Up Gaming". The way it works is you buy LvlUp token, a BSC (Binance SmartChain) token, a real cryptocurrency, then can earn a daily claim (ROI) by playing games. The more games you play, the more you can earn, up to a maximum of 5% of your total holdings. It's like staking crypto but better. Typically when you stake crypto, you lock your funds away in a pool and cannot transfer them. It then costs an unstaking fee or a time fee (of waiting a few days or few weeks) to get your funds back. Rather than dealing with fees or waiting to unstake, in Level-Up, the funds never even leave your wallet. You don't have to purchase any expensive NFTs and can literally start earning on whatever you can afford. Of course, the more you put in, the more you can earn each day. Right now, there's only one game, a Pac-Man clone called Pacatto, but the developers plan on adding more as well as allowing third-party developers to publish games to their platform. What we're seeing here is basically the MiniClip of P2E (Play to Earn). Just like MiniClip was a site for developers to easily publish their flash games, Level-Up is becoming a site for game developers to easily publish their game and integrate Play to Earn features. You can make hundreds of dollars a week just playing Pac-Man (and soon more arcade-style games). And to think of all the tokens I spent at Chuck-E-Cheese as a kid just to win a Chinese finger trap or Silly Putty. Now you can make a real income (and earn Level-Up tokens) playing games! Lvl 178: There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays

12/31/2021
Yep, no place like home for the holidays. Ain't it true? Man I'll tell you, it's the only time of year where you can sit at home and literally do bum f*ck all, and get away with it, without raising any sort of controversy or backlash at least. The holidays is a time you can do NOTHING and have it be acceptable. Seriously, you can actually relax and not have someone ripping you apart like "Why don't you get off your lazy ass and DO something?" You ain't gotta do anything. You can lay in your PJs all damn day, drinking eggnog and eating milk and no one will care. No obligations. No expectations. Just pure blissful Leisure (that big L in L.A.Z.Y.) Try doing that outside of the holiday season and guess what? Well now you're just a self indulgent prick, a lazy bastard, a good for nothing waste of life. The day the Christmas trees and ornaments come down is the day people's appreciation and very well acceptance for Leisure come down too. Right after we light up the sky with colorful explosions on that first night of the year, we jump right back into this work hard mantra, the non-stop grind of productivity, making something, doing something, being something. Man, the holidays is really the only opportunity you have in twelve months to make zero progress, to literally get no where, accomplish nothing, and have it be okay, or even encouraged. Yet the crazy thing, the absolutely insane thing here is that people have the audacity to say "Keep the spirit of Christmas alive year round." How can we? How can we stay in that relaxed state of mind, that easy comfort we feel, if the minute the clock strikes midnight on January first, we're expected to wake up and go back to work the next day? Going back to that stressful grind, quite the opposite of feeling at ease during the holidays. I tell you this, man.** The whole reason people are in "jolly good spirits"during the holiday is because, get this. They actually get a chance to RELAX.** We don't do that very often as a society, namely once a year. And if you do do it, if you do take a rest, during any other time of the year, well then you're just a lethargic piece of shit. It seems to me that the only reason we have people working so hard is for the sake of tradition and it's a tradition we need to stop. Just because our ancestors worked their asses to hunt, gather, and survive, doesn't mean we have to. Just because granpa crawled through the mines, coughed up a lung and broke his back swinging a pickaxe for 12 hours a day, doesn't mean we have to. We've evolved. We have the technology to automate the workload. We don't_ need _to put ourselves through to put food on the table and a roof over our head. After all, we all seem rather merry during the holidays, the only time where we're NOT doing that, where we're not working our asses off. I mean seriously, you ever think about that? The one time of year that's known as the merriest, the jolliest, the "most wonderful", is the one time where people ain't gotta do shit! And sure, we may blame these greedy corporate bastards on making us go to work for the sake of their own profit. But no, it's us. We have ourselves to blame. They're not forcing us to go to work. We choose to. We're the ones getting up and going to the job. We're the ones schlepping our asses for measly pay. We're the ones accepting the terms and conditions of our slavery contract. They offer it. We take it. They say "Hey we're gonna fuck you up the ass." and we metaphorically just bend over and let them rail us. You see, what happens when we just say "No", when we withdraw our consent, when we refuse to work and embrace our laziness. Well then their left with the choice to either share their wealth or get eaten by the starving poor! No but seriously, the only reason these corporate shitlords pay the minuscule wages they do and dodge taxes along the way is because they can get away with it. And WE are the ones that let them do it. We outnumber...

Lvl 177: No One Works on Christmas and it's "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"

12/24/2021
Ya ever notice that? I mean, seriously, let's break this down: The ONE DAY in the entire year that's known as "the most wonderful time" is the ONE DAY where stores are closed, offices shut down, restaurants keep their doors shut, and basically the entire country is at rest. No work. No obligations. Just full and complete Leisure (yeah, that big "L" in L.A.Z.Y.) I mean sure, you may have to travel to get somewhere for the holiday. But I mean once you're there, you're just gonna lounge around and sip hot coa coa while watching Christmas movie specials on your aunt's (or whatever relatives you decide to visit) oh so cozy couch. Aaand of course there's the whole shopping thing ya gotta do for gifts. But, that's something you do before the actual Christmas day. On the holiday itself, like December 25th, it's all about relaxing. Even if you're one to host, and responsible for all the cooking, it seems like less of a chore and more of a festive fun thing to do. There's really no stress ON the day of Christmas (of course I guess I suppose there might be some prep things that may cause stress leading up to it. But we're talking here about Christmas Day. It's really the only day of the year you're not expected to do anything active or productive. Like it's totally cool if you sit in your reindeer PJs and get drunks off eggnog at 9 in the morning. Do that on Christmas and nobody bats an eye, but come into work in your PJs or drunk one time on a "normal day" and everybody loses their minds Even other holidays have you doing some elaborate activity, like going out to the park for a barbecue and fireworks on Independence Day or Valentine's Day that has you going out to a fancy restaurant with your significant other. Christmas is a time we all get to relax. It's literally a holiday you sit in the house all day with your family and loved ones. There's something to be said about how people are in "jolly good spirits" when they're being quintessentially lazy Read the Full Transcript/Blog: http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/christmas Subscribe to the Newsletter: http://www.procrastin8r.com/subscribe

Lvl 176: Heroes and Empires: Another Idle game. Another Idle Income.

12/17/2021
Stop playing video games. They said. get a real job. They said. I've tried so many online money making methods in the past I've taken surveys on mTUrk. I freelanced audio production and voice work gigs on Fiver and E-lance. I've even taught kids in China on VIPKid. But nothing comes close to the profit I'm making with NFT games. I mean let me tell you a secret: I'm making more income playing games in a SINGLE DAY than any of these other online money-making methods, yet alone a "real job" had me earning in a full WEEK. Guys I am 100% serious when I talk about this. But NFTs are changing the gaming industry as we know it! With NFTs and the Blockchain technology, we're able to effectively verify that YOU own an item that you won from a game. It's not something your in-game avatar wears or holds. It's something you legitimately own. And just like anything you own in real life, like a book, instrument, furniture, whatever, you can buy, sell, and trade it on the market. It's no longer just "pixels" on a screen. It can now be traded for real fiat, real currency, through the use of the blockchain and crypto coins. The MetaVerse is building and we're blurring the lines between actual reality and virtual reality. This is just the beginning, fellow procrastin8rs. You can sit at home and PLAY A GAME to earn a real asset then sell that asset for money. Are you understanding me? Please tell me you follow. Okay, let me break this down for you, real simple: This is the lazy opportunity we've been waiting for! You can make money sitting on the couch playing video games. No need to grow an audience or following. No need to look pretty for the camera as you stream. No need to set up sponsors or affiliate links. You literally...just. play the game. Now I'm gonna be covering in-depth reviews/guides in the on coming weeks about some profitable NFT games I've been playing recently. Last week, you heard of BombCrypto and this time I want to introduce to you a little Play to Earn NFT game called Heroes and Empires. It's a medieval fantasy themed idle game. Even if you aren't much a gamer, it's very easy/semi-passive income. Just click a few buttons each day to do quests and battles. It's auto battle, so no actual skill or reflexes required. If you can browser a website, you can play this game! Lvl 175: Make Money Playing an Easy Idle Game with BombCrypto

12/10/2021
Well fellow ProcrastiN8r, the future of the MetaVerse is here. You heard good ole Zuck talk about. It's this idea of intertwining the virtual world with the physical one. He's talking about owning "virtual" property, which is already possible in games like Decentraland and Upland. This is done through the use of the blockchain to create NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. Think of NFTs as a unique item, like a shiny Charizard Pokemon card or a signed copy of Stephen King's It or the original painting of the Mona Lisa. It's not very easily replaceable and hard to find. Now in the real world, holding these items under your physical possession kind of proves your ownership of them, but in the virtual world, we need to verify data in order to prove your ownership. Sound familiar? Remember we talked about crypto/Bitcoin and how it uses this Blockchain technology to verify the fact that you own that cryptocurrency? Well, the same technology is now being applied to Non-Fungible tokens, unique items like pieces of art and of course, in-game items. No longer is that sword or pony just something you get in the game, it's something you VERIFIABLY OWN. Bitcoin itself is "fungible". One Bitcoin is exactly the same as any other Bitcoin in existence. Just like One dollar bill is the same as any other dollar bill. But now we can create non-fungible items that have uniqueness. That's the key word. Non-fungible means uniqueness. And this idea of owning items in the digital space is beginning to make waves. Already, collection toy companies like Funko Pop are offering NFTs in addition to the purchase of a real physical toy. These NFTs can then be traded on a digital market. Cities across the world are planning to implement NFTs in their future building plans. And this only the beginning. We're going to see the digital and physical world blur together more and more. With gaming already encouraging players to collect loot and unlock characters with no other incentive than bragging rights, having NFTs in game is going to shift the entire industry. No longer are you wasting hours into grinding levels or collecting resources in a game like Runescape. No longer are you fighting a boss over and over in hopes to get that one rare drop just so you can brag to your buddies or win some PVP. NFTs turns your game time into valuable time. That rare amulet you found in the chest? Yeah, that's yours now, not your game character's amulet. YOURS. You own it! Now fair warning, there is typically an upfront cost to get started with NFT games, and that may be a bit of a turn off for some of you. But honestly with new games running over $60 now and over a hundred for the "deluxe" editions, plus the system or PC you gotta buy to even play the game in the first place, even if you're not gaming with NFTs, there's still a price to pay up front. Thing is with traditional gaming, you don't earn anything back, but with NFT, you can actually profit off your game time. Like, you're going to be playing games just for fun or achievement sake, you might as well get paid for your time. I'm serious this is one of the biggest opportunities to make a living being lazy. You can literally lay on the couch and play video games all day and get paid to do so. No need to stream or build a following. No need to get sponsors or dabble around with affiliate marketing. No creating content on blog, videos, or podcasts. Literally just playin the game. Now I'm not a financial advisor. I don't have any sort of experience or authority to help you make decisions with your money. That's on you. Do your own research. I'm just a lazy dude with an opinion. Anyway, in the oncoming weeks, I'll be sharing with you some NFT games I'm finding to be rather profitable and today we're going to start with one called BombCrypto. Lvl 174: Waste Your Time and Embrace Your Leisure

12/3/2021
Go ahead and waste your time man. Ya know, we're constantly, and I mean constantly, moving on from one obligation to the next. We strive to make every single minute in our lives absolutely 100% productive...or at the very least we're certainly pressured to do so. Any down time, time to relax, or otherwise Leisure (the big "L" in L.A.Z.Y) time is seen as such a "waste" in this hard-working, achievement-oriented society. What are you doing, you lazy bum, sittin around doin' nothin'? Get your ass up and get back to work! Somehow your entire worth as a human being isn't tied to who you are but what you can do and what you can provide. Even hobbies and recreational activities aren't something we necessarily spend time on to simply enjoy ourselves, but to get better, become more skilled, gain more knowledge, develop better techniques. Heck, even vacation becomes following a freaking itinerary instead of taking the time to, what's that word again? RELAX! We book our vacation up with a plethora of activities and wind up coming back a week or so later feeling exhausted and in need of, get this, another vacation! Wasting time has a such a bad stigma in our gun-ho productive society. But there's more to life than just achievement. There's more to life than just goal-getting. I mean, how enjoyable can life be if you're constantly fatigued all the time? If you're constantly feeling drained mentally, emotionally, and physically, how can you ever be happy? There's something we lose when we transition from childhood to adulthood and it's this idea of playing for fun instead of playing to win. Being lazy, at least once in a while has its merits. Take time to ease on up and be fully and completely at rest. Do things to have fun or even for the sake of kicking your feet up just to savor the moment. Live a life of desire, not obligation. Abide and do your own thing. Whether that's bowling, playing video games, or just lying on the couch not really doing anything, don't feel like that's any sort of "wasted" time. While time is indeed limited, you can do with it what you want. Life is about what you manage to experience and enjoy, not what you manage to accomplish. Remember that. Lvl 173: Winter is Coming. Time to Hibernate

11/26/2021
Winter is coming Yup, that means it's time to hibernate. Stay in the warm indoors and sip hot coacoa. I hate the cold. And the only thing I hate more than the cold weather is the cold hearts of scammers. 'Tis the season for scammers to come. In the next coming months, we're gonna see a slew of websites, apps, EFTS, alt coins, and other programs that are designed to steal from your wallet (and your clock), taking your time and hard earned cash. Last week, I went over how to spot red flags on these scam sites and apps and one of the reasons I did that is because well...winter is coming. One of the biggest mainstream scams is of course Black Friday. I'll tell you what about Black Friday, there's more hype about the deals than the deals are actually worth. People will get excited about anything. Go run in a store and scream excitedly about how adult diapers are so super cheap! Guarantee you a mob will run over to grab that deal. People just get in a mode of "getting a good deal" that they shoot out any sort of rationality or logic, like rationally, the deals are no better than the normal discounts that stores offer throughout the year. But on top of these over-hyped sales at big retailers like Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy, you're also going to see these investment gimmicks and "innovative" start ups seemingly appear out of no where, like a magical snowman from a hat. Do your research. Look at who's behind the project, what experience do they have, what successful other projects have they been a part of, before shelling out your dough. I mean it. People are desperate now to get any sort of extra holiday spending money, so a lot of these new tokens you see on the Ethereum network or pennystock IPOs are going to be complete trash. The other snowfall of winter happens in the markets as a whole. Prepare for the stock and crypto market to slide down that hill in a one horse open sleigh. Around this time of year, there's usually a dip in share and coin prices. But don't panic. Don't worry. it happens. It'll recover around spring time again. I always see it as the "real" Black Friday sale, like "Yay crypto is on sale! Dividends are on sale!" Worst you can do is invest with your emotions. Invest with your money instead. Don't follow the hype train of selling shares (and coins) in order to buy deals of shit you don't even really want to buy anyway. Just relax man, and let your money hibernate. Do the lazy thing. Stay safe this season. Stay warm. Oh and stay classy too. Read the Full Transcript/Blog: http://www.procrastin8r.com/blog/winter Subscribe to the Newsletter: http://www.procrastin8r.com/subscribe

Lvl 172: ProcrastiN8 Top Red Flags to Look Out for to Avoid Online Money-Making Scams

11/19/2021
It wouldn't be the Internet without scammers, would it? I mean it's like walking into a Harley shop and seeing people with tattoos and leather jackets. Shit just goes hand and hand. And believe me, I've been online money-making for nearly a decade now. It's now my full-time income and over the years and through my experience, I've certainly seen my fair share of scams. Admittedly, I fell for a bunch of them when I was an online money-making noob. Of course, I found several LEGIT ways to make money online along the way, which is how I've managed to quit my day job and work from home. I'm not rich by any means. But I make a decent enough income sittin' in front of my computer, essentially. It's not all a scam, though with the amount of shit out there,** it's easy to conclude "making money online is a scam". That's not 100% correct, buuut I mean, it's not 100% wrong either.** Look, there ARE a LOT of scams out there. Sites and apps that will waste your precious time or steal away your hard earned money. But I want to save you from wasting your time or throwing away your money to these god awful scammers. I want to hep you be lazy and not have to put in the effort of trying to make money online, only to earn absolutely nothing in the end. See man, I've been there. I spent hours doing surveys or downloading games for these apps that...let's just say...turned out to be a complete and utter hoax. I mean I don't know about you, but I HATE wasting my goddamn time. Like, IF, big IF I AM actually going to do something....well then I want it to be worth the actual freaking effort. I don't want to do all these tasks just to get no compensation in return. So, I want to give you a list of red flags I wish I had when I started making money online. Hopefully it'll help you know what to look out for so you don't wind up spending a lot of your own time TRYING to earn money on the couch and instead ACTUALLY earn money from the couch. Lvl 171: I'm Lazy So On Election Day, I Stay Home

11/12/2021
"The lesser of the two evils" That's who you voted for on Election Day, isn't it? Man, that sucks. I mean, I don't want to vote for ANY evil, at any level, EVER. I'm completely fine with NO EVIL. How bout that? You like that? Think about it, Dude, how corrupt does a system have to be for the general consensus to be "well, I just voted for the lesser of the two evils."? Excuse me but....WHAT!? How is that acceptable? What kind of Underdark society are we living in where we're choosing between Evil A and Evil B. Like how about a solid NO. The two party system is outdated. The tribal war needs to stop. We need real conversations with real people. We need to sit back, relax, and listen to one another. We need REAL PEOPLE to make policy, not fake politicians. Listen to each other. Not listen to the puppets of these figure heads backed by corporate lobbyists who are paying their way to put in policies that further their agenda towards profits or the media who only serves as an ad funnel for the same corporate bastards Jeez, I'm starting to sound like a political commenter here. I really don't want to go down that route. I just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about the election process in general in today's blog. The focus here will of course be on the Lazy Mindset and how it's important to be lazy as your civic duty to your country.
