His home recordings in the late 1950s and 1960s are the reasons that many Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, Gunsmoke, and Suspense survive from that era, but also many NY baseball games (Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees, and later Mets) from that period as well. Luckily, Rispole traded his recordings heavily with other OTR fans, so they survived the ebbs and flows of collecting interest among collectors since he passed away. Also Suspense, originally broadcast November 17, 1957, 66 years ago, The City That Was starring Francis X. Bushman. A murder story of old Hollywood told by the long time Hollywood star.
