Episode 81 - Black Lightning

Bear, Jenn and Josh are joined by friend of the show, Loki Lott, to talk Black Lightning. We thought long and hard about doing this one, as none of the hosts are POC (except Josh but he hardly counts). In the end, the show touches on things that were simply too important not to discuss. Racial injustice, the use of the "n word" in media, why did they make the 70's look like the 50's and how CW is this show on the CW scale?

The entire Graphically Novel crew is here with Leia Cameron from RetConversations joining Jenn, Bear and Josh to talk about the sweet cinnamon bun - Captain America! They discuss what a mantle is versus a title or name, why MCU Sam was a better choice than Bucky to take the shield and everyone chooses their "most perfect" MCU movie (spoiler: Bear and Leia are no longer friends).

A movie, a cartoon and a comic book are discussed along with with how Todd McFarlane introduces himself, Jenn is introduced to the Comic Book Code and Josh disses Anne Bradstreet.
