Milin Ratanasen has been practicing medicine for 10 years as a primary care physician in Sacramento. He went to medical school at UCLA and then became a Chief Resident at UC Davis. A father of 3, he is a liffelong wrestling and hip-hop nerd. During the pandemic, he became heavily involved in vaccine effort at his facility. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are diving into the impact of COVID-19 on mental health staff at hospitals. Sheila and Ben are Licensed Clinical Social Workers who have been on the front lines. They share their experiences and insights learned from a roller coaster of year in a pandemic including the collective trauma of isolation, uncertainty, and crisis.
