65. Battle Royale: One-Person Armies

In this week's battle royale, the nerds were tasked with picking their favourite lone-acting engines of destruction and badassery to run through Matt's patented Out of Left Field Scenarios™. Interestingly enough, all of their picks were video-game characters, which you'd think would level the playing field somewhat... but you'd be wrong (no surprise there). Also, this one gets extremely lewd, seemingly out of nowhere (no surprise there, either).

64. The Monthly Roundup: April 2022

From Elon Musk's Twitter shenanigans, to crypto's meteoric nose dive into the dirt, to the FBI releasing the boomer's guide to (how to show you're completely clueless on) the Internet, this is April (and the slightest smidgen of May) 2022 in pop culture news (poorly) commented on by 4 nerds: The Monthly Roundup!

63. Matt Reeves Wasn't Entirely Wrong About "The Batman"

In a truly suprising turn of events, the nerds decided to watch a movie about a comic book character, of all things: The Batman. I know, right? Who could have possibly seen this coming? 🤡 Anyhoo, the actual surprising thing here was that they all had pretty positive things to say about this movie. Well, Chris, Luciano and Matt had, at any rate; it seems Spencer's "adventures" with Wolfie are not done yet...

62. Battle Royale: Powerful Wizards

It's been a while since the nerds duked it out in defence of their picks for something, so they're back with yet another battle royale! This time, they're trying battling it out to decide who the most powerful wizard is. Well... wizard, mage, sorcerer. You get my meaning. The thing is, their chosen champions this time were somewhat... unusual, shall we say... in comparison to previous battle royales, which made for some interesting battles ("bizarre" and "interesting" are basically the same...

61. Pick a Trailer, Rant a While: The Prodigal Son Returns

At long last, the missing nerd has come home! However, it seems something happened during the time he was away that has left him... strange. And this being Spencer we're talking about, that is quite the bar to clear. He continues to bet recklessly, though, so some semblance of his old self is still in there somewhere. In any case, the story is much better told by the victi— er, protagonist himself. As Spencer recounted his harrowing tale, he and the other nerds did manage to find time to...

60. The Monthly Roundup: March 2022

From gamified hand-jibbers, to Activision-Blizzard still being handed L's left, right and centre, to the Oscar's unexpected mainstream relevance (for completely wrong but still hilarious reasons), this is March 2022 in pop culture news (poorly) commented on by 4 nerds: The Monthly Roundup! This month, the usual nerds (still sans Spencer) are joined by another nerd: their buddy (and recurring guest) Nick.

G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S. | Nostalgia Can't Save You From Being Wrong About "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace"

The final episode of G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S. is upon us and, really, what kind of a You're Wrong mini-series would this be if the nerds didn't find some way to talk about Star Wars? So, to close off this epic event, Chris, Luciano and Matt are joined once again by their buddy Mike to talk about Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, a movie as ambitious and hyped up (at the time) as its title is long. Everyone had very personal experiences with this movie, from self-gaslighting into thinking...

G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S. | You Have 99 Minutes To Be Wrong About "Darkman"

The second installment of G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S. is all about the unpolished tur— I mean gem that is Darkman! On the heels of Tim Burton's Batman, acclaimed auteur Sam Raimi pondered thoroughly and concluded "hey, I bet I can do that, too!". And, by God, do it he did. The nerds (still Spencer-less, unfortunately) are once again joined by the ever-jovial Scott to eviscer— I mean, analyse and discuss their thoughts and opinions on what might be the most 90's movie of all 90's movies.

G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S. | You're Likely Not Wrong About "Cold Pursuit"

Here at You're Wrong, the term "March Madness" has nothing to do with basketball or the NCAA. Instead, this is the month we celebrate just pure madness, which is why we're launching the much-awaited G.U.I.N.N.E.S.S.! In the first episode of this epic event, Chris, Luciano and Matt were joined by Matt's better-half Laura to tackle a classic Liam Neeson vehicle: Cold Pursuit. It's, uh... it's a movie. With, like, actors and stuff. Well, a lot of their characters die (sorry... spoiler alert, I...

59. The Monthly Roundup: February 2022

From Capcom finally giving everyone a face full of Ryu's dong, to Crunchyroll now owning ALL of the anime, to Harry Potter playing "Weird" Al Yankovic in his biopic, this is February 2022 (and a dash of March) in pop culture news (poorly) commented on by 4 nerds: The Monthly Roundup!

58. You've Been Wrong About Marvel's "Eternals" Since the Dawn of Time

These nerds, they don't do things by halves, I gotta hand it to them. They had already accepted 2 of Spencer's movie recommendations (The Green Knight and The Matrix Ressurections) for review episodes, so when he suggested a third — Marvel's Eternals — they didn't even waver: they accepted it and decided to go for broke in what has now been dubbed the Skidmark Trilogy, a trifecta for the ages! Still, there are some surprises in this one, both for them as spectators and for us as listeners,...

57. Battle Royale: Badass Couples

In what might be the most violent Valentine's Day episode of anything ever, and in usual You're Wrong fashion, Chris, Luciano, Matt and Spencer put 4 iconic fictional couples through the paces of Matt's Completely New And Totally Original Scenarios™ in a battle royale for the ages! And yes, things got both bloody and weird, of course. It wouldn't be a You're Wrong episode otherwise, would it?

56. The Monthly Roundup: January 2022

From every company buying every other company, to NFTs still encroaching everywhere, to Neil Young telling Joe Rogan (and by proxy, Spotify) to fuck right off, this is January 2022 (with just a pinch of February) in pop culture news (poorly) commented on by 4 nerds: The Monthly Roundup! This month, the nerds were joined by Katharine the Great, who earned this very dubious honour by way of her generous donation to Extra Life back in November via Matt's stream!

55. You're Wrong About What You Think Will Happen in 2022

Using their now-famous powers of prediction, our favourite nerds talk about (and place bets on) what they think 2022 has in store for us. True to form, the conversation is pretty fucking weird right from the get-go, but some of the turns it takes are strange even for this bunch of weirdos. Also, depending on who's right about what, it's very possible that by this time next year, Spencer will be living under a bridge somewhere.

54. Whoever Thought "The Matrix" Needed A Resurrection Was Wrong

The You're Wrong crew discusses and reviews the fourth Matrix movie, The Matrix Resurrections, in today's episode and lemme tell ya: them nerds are not happy about it. Not that I blame them... this is thing is so derivative and nostalgia-pandering that it manages to both copy and fuck up the first movie's ending song at the same time. Not to mention doing the same to post-credit scenes. It's really fucking impressive, in a...

Surprise, You're Wrong! | Microsoft Found $68.7 Billion in Their Couch Cushions and Decided To Buy Activision-Blizzard

Holy moly, that came out of left field! In what is likely to be the most notorious (and expensive) example of buying one's way out of last place for quite a while, Microsoft decided to snatch up Activision-Blizzard wholesale (yep, it's a buyout, not a merger), and our favourite nerds thought it was too much of a bombshell not to... regale... us with their thoughts on the matter immediately.

53. Pick a Trailer, Rant a While: Early 2022 Movies

The You're Wrong crew was finally back at full main roster this week to rant about some of upcoming movies that they're excited/concerned about. Look out for the poll later this week on Twitter (make sure you follow @yourewrongcast there to be notified of it!) to choose which of these 4 movies you'd like to have them pick apart in a later episode! The trailers: – Everything Everywhere All At Once (Including Sausage Fingers And Exploding Confetti Heads) – Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (if you...

52. The Monthly Roundup: December 2021

From fart jars being sold for literal thousands of dollars (no, really), to Disney not really understanding what "metaverse" means, to hoping Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen can save the next Fantastic Beasts movie from being a total flop, this is December 2021 (with a smidge of January 2022!) in pop culture news (poorly) commented on by 3 (😱) nerds : The Monthly Roundup!

51. You're Likely Not Entirely Wrong About "Red Notice"

Happy New Year! For their first episode of 2022, our favourite nerds decided to share their thoughts about Red Notice. And, just like the movie, their conversation was pretty much a paint-by-numbers affair... which, in the case of a You're Wrong episode, means it was the usual hectic mess of puns, lewd remarks and off-the-rails tangents.

50. You're Wrong Plays "Fiasco": The Office Party

The You're Wrong nerds decided to put their much-flaunted creativity to the test by playing a game of Fiasco, centred around a office Christmas party attended by some very shady individuals. Clifford "Big Cliff" Theodore (Chris), Josefina "Jo" Cannon (Luciano), Vaspasian Irene (Matt) and Tad O'Celery (Spencer) all have highly ambitious goals... but very little in the way of an actual plan. What could possibly go wrong?
