How To Be A Better Person with Kate Hanley

Podcasts

We talk about wanting to act on our better instincts. That's what the How to Be a Better Person podcast is designed to help you do. Start your day with one simple thing you can do in the next 24 hours to be your better self--not so you can be a perfect person. Or even a good person! Just... better. Better than how you were the day before, or better than your conditioning might make you think you are. I wrote the book "How to Be a Better Person" after "be a better person" topped the list of most popular New Year's resolutions for the first time ever. This podcast builds on the ideas in that book and is intended to be like the little angel on your shoulder, providing a counter narrative to the negative thoughts and impulses that are floating around both out there and inside your own head (because you're human, and humans are complicated!). My mission is to help you consciously evolve into the person you know you're capable of being. And not because you're a bad person now, but because you have an inherent goodness that you're ready to let lead the way.

It’s really common to pride yourself on your ability to get things done. We live in a capitalist society, after all, where productivity and output are kings.
