God Can Change Your Mind!

8/22/2019
More
Ephesians 4:23 says, "Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes." (NLT) Don't miss the implication here: God can change your mind. If you allow Him to do the work He has already begun in you, you won't always struggle with what you struggle with. You won't always worry about what you're worried about. You will take your thoughts captive instead of being held captive by your thoughts. When you make God's Word a priority—reading it, speaking it, living it—transformation is...

Much of the country will see record-setting heat this week, causing many to turn down their thermostat in an effort to keep cool. Yup, 78. And that's when you're home. Energy Star recommends bumping that number up to 85 degrees while you're out of the house and 82 when sleeping....

Dear Jeff and Rebecca, I work in a small to medium-sized family-owned company. One of the employees brushes her teeth in the company break room and it's so disgusting. It's right where we prepare our food if we eat lunch at the office. How do I approach this with her? She's very fragile and collapses under the slightest bit of criticism or critique.

God Is Jealous For You, Not Of You

8/20/2019
More
It's been just a little over 10 years since Oprah Winfrey revealed publicly why she walked away from Orthodox Christianity. Orthodox simply means standard doctrine which was what the vast majority of Protestant churches believe. The reason she walked away from her faith in her late 20s was because she heard a sermon on Deuteronomy, I believe it's verse 24 of Chapter 4. It says, "For the Lord, your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." After hearing that, it really bothered Oprah....
