1 John 3:1 NAS95 “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” When salvation is considered, there are several things which could come to mind. Salvation could mean being saved from destruction or danger. Or, salvation could have reference to healing of the body. The greatest reference to salvation in the New Testament refers to making a person a partaker of the spiritual salvation offered by Christ. Salvation of the soul is often taken for granted. But salvation of the soul is the most important thing a person can experience. Let us take a few moments to talk about salvation of the soul.

Pastor Nate Hadley is a teaching pastor at Calvary Chapel Capitola in Northern California. He has served at CC Capitola for 13 years in various ministries, and currently teaches through the Old Testament at their mid-week service.
