The Good Shepherd

7/11/2025
Do you feel lost? There’s a story in the Bible, God’s book of truth, it’s a story about a shepherd with one hundred sheep, and one wanders away. He left his ninety-nine sheep to rescue the one sheep that took off on its own. Wow! That is true love. This story represents the love of Jesus for you. He is the shepherd, and we are the sheep. We try to figure out life on our own, and we stray from the shepherd’s care. Even though we run, Jesus loves us so much that He rescues us. He comes for us and He brings us back. He wants to have a relationship with you.. Have you been running from God, afraid that He won’t accept you back? You have a good shepherd who sees you and knows you. Come to Him today! Everything Is a Loss

7/10/2025
What’s the most valuable thing you have? What or who do you love the most? The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the early Christians in Philippi to encourage them to follow the way of Jesus. In it, he said… Everything good he had was a loss compared to one thing—knowing Jesus. Not just serving Jesus, but knowing Him. When he wrote these words, he was in prison—everything was stripped away. How challenging for him! The truth is that everything we have, we will lose. And the people we love, they will go. But you will one day face Jesus at the end of your life. Nothing matters more than this, when all is said and done. Will He know you as a friend and welcome you home? Always remember, there is hope with God. "I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done." Philippians 3:7 radio.hopewithgod.com

Spiritual Health

7/9/2025
It’s like this: You feel a little pain in your chest and think, Huh, I should probably get that checked out. Then you go to the doctor, and he tells you, You’ve gotta eat better, you’ve gotta exercise, get more rest… or else. And you ask, Well, when exactly will something bad happen if I don’t do all these things? Now, what about your spiritual health? Maybe you’ve felt something stirring in your heart—a whisper, maybe, saying, What about God? Find out about Him. But you push it aside. Life gets busy, and you think, A_h, I’ll just deal with that later._ God’s holy book, the Bible, says, People can never predict when hard times come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy. Don’t wait. God offers you life. He’s calling you to turn from the things that are destroying you and run into His arms. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Ephesians 9:12 radio.hopewithgod.com

Do you want to live forever?

7/8/2025
Is this life all there is? I believe that the fact that we want to believe that there is an eternity reveals that it’s there — it's a reality. The Bible clearly tells us that there is an afterlife and that we can have it with God. Jesus Himself said it in John 17, "This is eternal life: that they(that's us) may know You(that's God), the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." How do you get eternal life? How can we be certain? Know God through Jesus Christ. It sounds so simple, and it is! Jesus has done all that is needed for us to know God. How could we say no to this offer? Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

Go to hell?

7/7/2025
I was watching a show the other day, and the people just kept saying over and over— “Go to hell! Go to hell!” And couldn’t help thinking to myself…why on earth would anyone want to do that? Hell is not just a word—it’s a real place. A place of regret and darkness. A place of separation from God. And if we refuse His offer of life, that’s where we’re headed. But hold on, there's good news! Jesus Christ made a way. He told His disciples this: “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house there are many mansions, many rooms and I am going there to prepare a place for you.” No more pain, no more grief, no more sorrow. So don’t go to hell. Come with me—let’s go to Heaven together. Say yes to Jesus Christ today. Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

Finding Wisdom

7/4/2025
Decision-making can feel overwhelming, and everyone claims to have a solution. How do we gain clarity and wisdom beyond our own understanding? The ancient wisdom of the book of Proverbs in the Bible says this: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is a divine gift. It says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” By seeking Him, seeking His plan, then we can receive wisdom that we need to navigate life's enormous challenges. And it's not just about material success; wisdom is about living a life of peace and purpose. Proverbs even personifies wisdom as a woman, and says about Lady Wisdom, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” Are these the paths of life that you want to walk on? True Meaning

7/3/2025
We live in a world where self-discovery is emphasized, but I can tell you from experience, it won’t lead you to the answers you’re looking for. The ancient wisdom of Proverbs says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” A deeper understanding of life doesn’t come from knowing ourselves; it comes from knowing someone so much greater than ourselves. It comes from knowing God, the One who already knows everything about you and wants to help you navigate life's most difficult challenges. If you're longing for deeper meaning, take a moment to seek God right now. Pray and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. “God, I want to know You. Please show me Your love and Your guidance. I want to know You.” Always remember there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

The Power of True Friendship

7/2/2025
Do you need a friend? In this world where connections are so fleeting, it's easy to get disconnected. The book of Proverbs says this: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for times of adversity.” What if you could find a friendship that would truly last? The Bible teaches us about a friendship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus once said this in the book of John, “I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." If you're looking for a friendship that will last, take a moment to pray and ask Jesus to be your friend. Pray this, “Jesus, I want to know You. Thank You for forgiving me, for paying the penalty on the cross that I should have paid. What a friend You are. Amen.” Start that journey today! It started with that prayer, but there’s more to go. Getting It Right

7/1/2025
We often feel the pressure to get things right—whether it’s in our work, our relationships, how we live our lives. We try so hard to be perfect, but the truth is, that can be exhausting. What if letting go of the need to be perfect can actually bring us peace? There’s a simple message in the Bible that says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” It’s an invitation to stop striving and to find rest in the one who is already perfect. Trusting in God’s power instead of our own can free us to live with peace and confidence. Not self-confidence, but confidence in the one who loves us so much that He gave His life to save us. It’s time to bring your whole self to Jesus and let Him carry you. Always remember there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Being Real

6/30/2025
I hear people talking about ‘toxic positivity.’ Have you heard that? It’s the pressure to always stay upbeat and pretend that everything’s fine, even when it’s not. The Bible tells us about it. In the book of Proverbs, it says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” So often, we hold on to our worries when we don’t have to. But it’s okay to be honest about our pain, and Jesus offers us a different way. He invites us to come with our burdens. Let Him carry the burden with you. If you’re looking for true peace and hope, I invite you to discover who Jesus really is. He will transform your life. Pray to Him today, just like I did. Ask Jesus to take over, to forgive you, to be Lord of your life, and you will be surprised at the incredible peace you will find there. Always remember, there is hope with God. Punched in the Mouth

6/27/2025
My friend reminded me of something that world champion heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson once said, "Everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” You know, he’s right! The Bible says in the book of Proverbs, “People make their plans, but God directs their steps.” The question is not how to avoid getting punched in the mouth by the world. It’s gonna happen! We all get knocked down by the struggles and challenges, and even the tragedies of life. The question for you is this: what resource do we have to deal with it? God has a plan for you—a way forward. And it’s with Him. He knows that you will struggle and suffer, but He also says I am the way, the truth, and the life. Give Him your life today. Let Him carry you forward. He is strong—stronger than the challenges you're facing. Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau. "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33 radio.hopewithgod.com

Are you far from God?

6/26/2025
Does God feel like a distant thought? Or do you feel like God has pulled away from you because of something you’ve done? You might feel far from God, but He isn’t far from you. Ephesians 2 tells us that because of the work of God’s Son, Jesus, on the cross, we are brought near. Jesus came and preached peace to us who are far and to us who are near. That word, peace, means wholeness. Jesus reconciles us to God to bring us near. And it doesn’t depend on us; it depends on Him, and the work is done. If you feel far from God, why don’t you just turn your heart to Him today? Say, “Jesus, I feel far. But I know you’ve done all that is needed for me to be near. Thank you, Lord. Forgive me. In the name of Jesus, amen.” Always remember there is hope with God. "He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near." Chasing Fantasy

6/25/2025
How often have you heard it said, “Let your imagination run wild! Imagination? It’s important. It’s from God. When it’s in control? That’s wonderful. But chasing fantasies?! That’s a trap and a recipe for disaster. In Proverbs 28 it says this, “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty. A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one who is eager to get rich will not go unpunished.” Pop culture today tends to claim false routes to peace: self-forgiveness, manifesting… These are cheap imitations of truth, and they will destroy you. Come instead, to God. He paid the penalty Himself and made the full payment on your behalf. And now, right now, He offers you new life. Always remember, there is hope with God. Are you dead?

6/24/2025
Are you dead? You’re probably saying, “What’s wrong with you, Wendy? Of course not. I’m here, I’m breathing, there’s blood in my veins, my heart is beating.” Could I ask you, though, “Are you dead spiritually?” Every one of us has a spiritual side. Physically, yes, we’re alive, but is the spiritual side of us alive, or dead? Ephesians 2 tells us that there are things we do that bring death to our spiritual lives. Things that destroy us and the people around us. But there is another way. Jesus, because of His great love, offers us life. Because of His mercy, He says, I took death so that you can experience spiritual life- life that is truly life. Are you dead spiritually? You can have life! Always remember there is hope with God. Into the Light

6/23/2025
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.” These words of wisdom are from the Bible, ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28‬, verses 13‬-‭14‬. When we’ve done wrong, we have a choice to make, don’t we? I just want to challenge you: Do not hide any longer. Only God can really deal with your past, and set you free, and help you to move forward. God is merciful. You expect a hammer, and He greets you with an embrace. His mercy is for you today. Leave your sin behind forever and walk in the light of a new day, with God as your Savior and your companion for life. Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau. Face it!

6/20/2025
Are you wasting away, discouraged by the immorality of your own life? Your own actions? Man, I have been there myself, and I know that we may be searching for pleasure and fun; it becomes harder and harder to find it and harder to live with ourselves. I’ve felt that. The wrongs in your life, what the Bible calls sin, will eventually destroy you. I don’t say that to judge you. I just understand. Life gets complicated. Maybe others had a hand in the destruction of your dreams and your life. But for your part, you can own up to it. Bring it to the Lord; bring it before God— all of the wrongs that you’ve done. The sin of your life, even your failures, the things that you just regret…bring it to the One who can transform it— it’s Jesus. Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau. Are you enlightened?

6/19/2025
Are you enlightened? Enlightenment means to see, to shine on, to brighten, or illuminate. Ephesians 1 tells us that the eyes of our hearts can be enlightened to know the hope that God has called us to! We can be enlightened to know God, to understand that He calls us to a life of hope! I think of my son when he was little, crying in his crib, feeling alone in the dark of his little bedroom. He would call out for us. The moment that we walked in the room and we turned on the light, he would settle into peace. And we’d say, “Here we are. Here we are.” This is the hope that we’re called to. Do you hear God saying to you, “I’m here”? Let Him enlighten your heart today. Always remember there is hope with God. "I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance." Let Him Tend You

6/18/2025
When you pay attention to something, and you invest time to nurture it, it prospers! If you tend to a tree, it bears fruit, right? But in contrast… When something is abandoned and neglected, it decays, and it becomes a deplorable sight to look at…especially to the one who is responsible— the one who was supposed to tend it. The Lord will care for you if you let Him. So, let Him! Ask God to come and draw you close to Himself. Ask Him to tend you and help you flourish like a well-tended tree so that you will bear fruit. He’s ready to do it, and He longs to do it— to take care of you. But He’s not invasive. The choice is yours to make. Will you choose today once and for all the abundant life that God has for you? Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau. "As workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat the fruit, so workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded." Is love really free?

6/17/2025
Is love really free? If you have children, you love them unconditionally. But raising them, caring for them, guiding them, providing for them…has not been free. As a person, it’s cost you a lot! Yet, you would not do it any other way. True love is a great sacrifice. And the love that God has for us is free to us to receive. But it cost Him everything. Ephesians 1 tells us that He has freely given us redemption, adoption, forgiveness. And we can freely receive it. It is a great gift! And this is true love, sacrificial love. Real love. Not a trivial idea of free love, but a lay down your life kind of love. Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau. Don’t do it!

6/16/2025
Has anyone ever told you, “Go to hell!”? Well, listen to me. I say to you, “Don’t do it!” You were meant to live a life filled with purpose and joy. Have you heard about Jesus? He’s real, and He can help you navigate life’s challenges and find true fulfillment. He is the only true source of peace, purpose, and joy, even in difficult times. The power of His sacrifice on the cross will set you free from the mistakes and the sin of your past. He will give you life that is truly life—the abundant life that you were created for. If you’re ready to move from hellish survival to thriving, take a moment to pray and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life. Pray with me now… “Jesus, I want to know You and live life to the full with You. Please come into my life and show me Your way.” Always remember, there is hope with God.
