While he tried to stay strong on the road, he was ultimately caught up in some compromising situations that caused him to make some bad choices. These choices led him down even darker paths to the point where he felt that he'd lost everything. Fortunately, God had a different plan, and through repentance, hope, and the Atonement, Eldon was able to find peace and happiness again in his life.
