2/9/2024
In this episode we talk about Da'at and this Sefirot's assigned angel as understood in the Book of Remembrance. From the Book of Remembrance: "The second and the third is Da’at (Knowledge), the Truth of the way, before the creation. And only by Knowledge may wisdom be gained, for the beginning of knowledge is truth. Knowledge is the Left Eye; from Truth came the Torah, the treasure of Heaven. And I, the Great Jehovah, am its herald, but in my place stands Khamael to be its herald, and Khamael walked the earth as Alma, until I took him." -Book of Remembrance Chapter 33:9-12 Music: “Impact Moderato” by Kevin MacLeod Support the show

Book of Remembrance Chapter 33:5-8: Chokhmah, Raphael who is Raziel and Melchizedek

1/26/2024
In this episode we talk about Chokhmah and this Sefirot's assigned angel as understood in the Book of Remembrance. From the Book of Remembrance: "The second and the third is Chokhmah (Wisdom), the beginning of the path, before the creation. And by only by Wisdom may knowledge be understood, for the beginning of wisdom is the fear of YHVH. Wisdom is the Right Eye; from Wisdom came the Torah, the treasure of Heaven. And Raphael who is Raziel is its herald, and Raphael walked the earth as Melchizedek until I took him." Book of Remembrance 33:5-8 “And thou shalt speak unto all that are wisehearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.” -Exodus 28:3 “O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all.” -Psalms 104:24 “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.” -Proverbs 8:23 “For Wisdom is more moving than any motion: She passeth and goeth through all things by reason of Her pureness, for She is the breath of the power of God, and a pure influence flowing from the glory of the Almighty: therefore can no defiled thing fall into Her. For She is the brightness of the everlasting light, the unspotted mirror of the power of God, and the image of His goodness; and being but One, She can do all things: and remaining in Herself, She maketh all things new: and in all ages entering into holy souls, She maketh them friends of God, and prophets; for God loveth none but they that dwelleth with Wisdom." -Wisdom of Solomon 7:24-28 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” -Proverbs 9:10 “And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than hehas strength.” -Mosiah 2:44 RAV, 4:27a OPV “The Zohar (3:235b, Raya Mehemna), breaks up the word chochmah itself into two words, koach, and mah. Koach means “potential,” and “mah” means “what is.” Thus chochmah means, “the potential of what is,” or, “the potential to be.” -Zohar, as translated by Moshe Miller “It is thus written, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The word beginning is nothing other than Wisdom. It is thus written, “The beginning is wisdom, the fear of God.” -HaBihir 1:3 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” -Proverbs 1:7 “And I was taken away in the spirit, and I beheld as it were a throne in the heavens, and a Man, Ahmen and a Woman, Shekinah who sat upon the throne; and They had in one hand a great sapphire upon which was written the Torah and in the other a great emerald upon which were written the mysteries of the temple.” -Zenos 2:4-5 “And Raphael was sent to heal them both, that is, to scale away the whiteness of Tobit's eyes, and to give Sara the daughter of Raguel for a wife to Tobias the son of Tobit.” -Tobit 3:17 “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” - Romans 8:17 Music: “Impact Moderato” by Kevin MacLeod Support the show

Mormon Kabbalah: the Sefirot

1/12/2024
Before getting into chapter 33 of the Book of Remembrance, we will look at the evolution of the Kabbalistic tree of life over time and how Mormon Kabbalah relates to Jewish Kabbalah. "O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned, they think they are wise; and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves; wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness, and it profiteth them not - and they shall perish. But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God." -2 Nephi 6:57-61 RAV, 9:28-29 OPV Links: Podcast website: http://mormonkabbalah.com/ Rav Michael Laitman's website: https://www.kabbalah.info/ Dr. Justin Sledge's Esoterica on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheEsotericaChannel Esoterica Kabbalah - Origins of the Sefirot and Tree of Life https://youtu.be/vjXhpp1x_3M?si=-kh9oIVEjgVegX-m Music: “Impact Moderato” by Kevin MacLeod Support the show

5/9/2023
Lehi searches the plates of brass. 1:157 [5:9] And it came to pass that they did rejoice exceedingly and did offer sacrifice and burnt offerings unto the Lord; and they gave thanks unto the God of Israel. 1:158 [5:10] And after they had given thanks unto the God of Israel, my father Lehi took the records which were engraven upon the plates of brass, and he did search them from the beginning. 1:159 [5:11a] And he beheld that they did contain the five books of Moses, which gave an account of the creation of the world, 1:160 [5:11b] And also of Adam and Eve, who was our first parents, 1:161 [5:12] And also a record of the Jews from the beginning, even down to the commencement of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, 1:162 [5:13a] And also the prophecies of the holy prophets, from the beginning, even down to the commencement of the reign of Zedekiah, 1:163 [5:13b] And also many prophecies which have been spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah. 1:164 [5:14a] ¶ And it came to pass that my father Lehi also found upon the plates of brass a genealogy of his fathers; 1:165 [5:14b] Wherefore, he knew that he was a descendant of Joseph, yea, even that Joseph who was the son of Jacob, who was sold into Egypt and who was preserved by the hand of the Lord, that he might preserve his father Jacob and all his household from perishing with famine. 1:166 [5:15] And they were also led out of captivity and out of the land of Egypt by that same God who had preserved them. 1:167 [5:16a] And thus my father Lehi did discover the genealogy of his fathers. 1:168 [5:16b] And Laban also was a descendant of Joseph; wherefore, he and his fathers had kept the records. 1:169a [5:17] ¶ And now, when my father saw all these things, he was filled with the Spirit and began to prophesy concerning his seed— 1:169b [5:18] That these plates of brass should go forth unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people who were of his seed. 1:170 [5:19a] Wherefore, he said that these plates of brass should never perish, neither should they be dimmed any more by time. 1:171 [5:19b] And he prophesied many things concerning his seed. 1:172 [5:20] ¶ And it came to pass that, thus far, I and my father had kept the commandments wherewith the Lord had commanded us. 1:173 [5:21] And we had obtained the records which the Lord had commanded us, and searched them, and found that they were desirable, yea, even of great worth unto us, insomuch that we could preserve the commandments of the Lord unto our children. 1:174 [5:12] Wherefore, it was wisdom in the Lord that we should carry them with us as we journeyed in the wilderness towards the land of promise. The Torah of Moses from the Plates of Brass

4/19/2023
"And after they had given thanks unto the God of Israel, my father Lehi took the records which were engraven upon the plates of brass, and he did search them from the beginning. And he beheld that they did contain the five books of Moses, which gave an account of the creation of the world, and also of Adam and Eve, who was our first parents." -1 Nephi 1:158-160 RAV, 5:10-11 OPV “Thus saith the LORD God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.” –Ezekiel 37:19 KJV The 5 Books of Moses is a divinely inspired translation of the plates of brass by David that began March 8, 2018. Being awoken around 2 am, he was given the first few chapters of the Book of Melchizedek. In 2019, David was told to begin translating, among other things, these 5 Books of Moses. Less than a year later, the work was completed. The plates of brass are a part of the “coat of many colors” Jacob gave his son Joseph. These writings of Moses are a part of the stick of Ephraim that is to be put with the stick of Judah. This is why it was written on brass in Egyptian, the language of Joseph of Egypt, because it was not for all of the tribes.
