We at Ephrata Community Church are about to spend the week hosting "The Sending"-- a mission conference with dozens of representatives from around our nation and the world. It is one of those weeks where we will receive inspiration as we hear of amazing things that God is doing. We will also hear of the challenges we face as we partner with God in those endeavors. Whatever the outcome, a week from now, we don't want to be so impressed by what others are doing, or so overwhelmed by the need, that we don't know what we can do to help. Together we will explore what we can do as everyday individuals when we find "the world on our doorstep."

Hope is defined as "the person or thinks in which your expectations are centered upon". Where is your hope? It is centered upon Jesus Christ? HOPE is the most fundamental and profound thing that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ has to offer anybody, anywhere, at any time, going through anything! As we enter 2018 you need to know Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
