Am I being disobedient to God if I go to a church that has women pastors? Are we judged by what we did with the opportunities God gave us? How many judgments are there? What will it be like for Christians? I can’t find a grace-focused church! What should I do? Why do I have such a problem with profanity? What does God think? Were the apostles and the early church especially brave? If so, how?

Could It Be Yours, Even in Your Mess? Discussion Questions for Philippians 1:

Shouldn’t we confess our struggles to God and others? Even though I’m forgiven, I feel regret and remorse over sin. Is this good? What about shame? Is God sovereign? Does He control everything? Is He in control of the universe? My friends reject “once saved, always saved.” What about Judas and the demons? Aren’t they proof we can lose it?

I was sexually abused as a kid. I still feel like a little boy in a man’s body. How do I grow up? Is the radical imagery in Revelation 9 to be taken literally? I’ve had cancer twice. I’m looking at more treatment. I don’t know what to do with this decision.

Is that tradition consistent with the New Testament?

How did John the Baptist not get killed as a baby by Herod's edict? I heard that what God wrote on believers' hearts only becomes true if we study the Bible enough. Is this true? How will we not be sad in Heaven when some people whom we love are not there with us? What did Jesus mean by, "I have overcome the world"? Was the thief on the cross actually saved?
