To follow God, we are told we need to be humble. Problem is we're all prideful. Let's talk about breaking down those pride walls.

We all face struggles. The Bible has a lot to say about what to do in those times. Let's take a few minutes to look at just a couple examples and see how we can apply them today.

We all want freedom. Freedom from habits, addiction, stress, bills, etc. What if the freedom we really need isn't from a new job or a support group but the kind of freedom that Jesus gives us? We can forget that what we do affects other people or don't think about how much. Let's take a look at a couple of times Jesus worked a miracle but we don't think about how much He impacted the world around Him and how His life in us has an impact far beyond just what and who we can see.

Hearing God's voice can be hard. I think we create a lot of that difficulty ourselves though. Let's talk about how we can approach listening to God with a different mind and heart so we can hear what He's saying.

Isolation doesn't have to be scary. There are great things we can and God wants to accomplish in our lives when we are by ourselves. Let's change our perspective to see what can be done instead of worrying about what we can't do.

We need to overcome our human instinct to view the person as the problem and not address their behavior. None of us want to be judged by the worst thing we ever did because that doesn't reflect who we are. God views us so much differently than we view ourselves and others. Let's get His perspective.
