All of these feats of the Holy Spirit didn’t end with the Apostles but are still available for us today. Join us as we work through the book of Acts and see how we too can rely on the Holy Spirit. Gospel (Week 13)

Jesus shared his life, death, and resurrection to return us to a right relationship with God our father. What is our next step in that relationship? Why did Jesus call us into this new life and community? We are called so that we can be a blessing to others. Abraham was promised that through his offspring the world would be blessed. As Christians we are part of family of Abraham and that opportunity to bless others is now ours. How can we love people where they are and help them to take...

The resurrection, for the disciples, was a confusing event. What does it mean that Jesus has come back? How do we move forward? Is there a forward? Gospel (Week 10)

This is one of the most powerful and sad moments in scripture. Finally the disciples are seeing Jesus cheered as the Messiah. Finally Jesus is making a statement about who he is. Jesus comes into the city of Jerusalem to fan fare. The reality was that this was a sad time for Jesus because he knows what awaits him in Jerusalem. While we celebrate, Jesus is preparing for the most difficult time of his life and ministry.

Gospel (Week 9)

Jesus, knowing his time was growing short, takes the three up on a mountain top. In the process something amazing happens. Jesus is transfigured and alongside him are Moses and Elijah. Peter is overwhelmed and wants to stay. When we see this story we can long for those mountain top experiences where we are in the midst of God’s presence. The truth, though, is that God calls disciples to action. Not to sit and ponder but to act with God in building and growing His Kingdom.

Gospel (Week 8)

3/27/2022
Jesus said; Look, I will send you out as sheep among the wolves. This is how Jesus prepared his disciples, about 72 in total, to go and prepare the message he was bringing to the nation of Judea. That doesn’t sound like they would be met with joy and happiness. Why does Jesus send out his disciples before him? Is there some deeper meaning that we can get about Jesus and His mission here on earth through this story? Join us as we take a look into this story and understand why it is pivotal in...

Jesus breaks down many of the barriers for common people to enter into God’s Kingdom and encourages a deep and meaningful relationship with God as Father. Today we will take a closer look at this message from Jesus and how it is still applicable for us even 2000 years later.
