On a beautiful December afternoon in 2017, her brother went Home to be with the Lord in a terrible motorcycle accident. She continues to tell stories about his life, sometimes through her tears, because that’s what memory keepers do. Last year, she battled Covid for 70 days in the hospital and at one point was on 100% oxygen. From a bed in the ICU, she told me about what God was teaching her in those terrifying days.
